Probably not the biggest, but the Royals A's wild card game last year was probably the best atmosphere. Place was angry electric.

Not really many. Was at the ISU/Notre Dame tourney game in Dayton. Went to a couple of Colts playoff games, but none were huge. Was at Manning's last game as a Colt though.

I guess it depends what you call major. Some are citing big 12 tourneys and ive hit that multiple times, in Dallas, OKC, and KC (4x). Bowl games? Ive been to Shreveport, houston, phoenix, and memphis. I was at the tourney games in charlotte in 05.

Id love to go to a final 4 someday though. If we end up there next year, im guessing tickets will be obtainable at a reasonable (well.. reasonable enough for a once in a lifetime event) price and id find a way to make it.

2004 MNF Patriots @ Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium.

ISU home football/basketball games 2005-2010, and a few here and there since (including our FB win @ Texas in 2010).

2009 Insight Bowl win ISU over Minnesota in Tempe, AZ on New Year's Eve.

2014 NCAA MBB Tournament ISU over NC Central in San Antonio.

2015 Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.


Ok so some of those aren't really MAJOR sporting events but they are major in my mind at least! And of course they were all a blast.

2012 Ryder Cup at Medinah. That was a BLAST. I obviously didn't go on Sunday because that sucked.

World Series in '87 and '91. The '87 series was by far the better environment.

Other than ISU stuff I've only been to about 4 MLB games at the old Busch Stadium and 1 game at whatever the name of the stadium the Royals play at.

Not a pro sports fan. Wouldn't mind going to a Packers game just of the experience, but that's about it.

I checked the World Series, Super Bowl, and NBA championships off my bucket list in one year here in Dallas three years back. Pretty cool. I've also been fortunate to be in Austin when ISU beat UT, and Ames when ISU beat #2 OSU.

Was at the game in Oakland when Ricky Henderson tied the single season stolen base record, then got thrown out trying to steal 3rd. He broke the record the next day but I wasn't at that one. Also:
Inaugural Brickyard 400, Indy 500 when Emerson Fittipaldi won and I just happened to have a Brazilian date (that was fun), and 16 Formula One races.
