is that the really low, long bridge? Ugh, her reaction was pretty much mine. Those are nasty.

I worked at a movie theater in high school, it was right next to the cedar river and those nasty things were attracted to the marquee. So gross.

Yeah, savannah/sabula is the one (goes thru the backwaters on the Iowa side long and low, then a truss bridge over main channel). Pretty cool bridge, although not all that exciting, per se.

Meh. I learned driving this 1949 Chevy tankwagon. By that time it was demoted to an old backup truck and I would drive it around the warehouse yard. That's my dad and Mike the dalmatian and wonder dog on top of the truck from a picture they ran in the local paper a million years ago.

So disappointed that we let that troll lakes back on here.

I noticed that last year, he was all over during the summer, then banned right before football season, popped back up this summer (although I think he was activated, just didn't post much). Makes me wonder if there's a relaxing during the summer when times are slow and the casual fanatics (who want hardcore news only and get pizzed when a thread is derailed, or there are junk threads) are gone and only the fanatical fanatics (who understand how message boarding works, and can roll with it) are around.
