In all honesty, though, I appreciate the fact that you don't have to be a very smart or rich to go to a P5 in-state school when you're an Iowan. Illinois residents are ****ed for many reasons, that being one of them.

Alternate answer: my place of employment (UI Hospitals and Clinics). I work with a lot of very smart people, but there are still Tavern Hoks everywhere you look. First thing I got when I walked in the door last year after Cy-Hawk victories (for both Bball and Fball) was, "congrats on your Super Bowl." I expect the ****-talking to ramp up tomorrow.:twitcy:

Go to your nearest small town anywhere in the state and visit the local watering hole sometime between noon and 3pm. See that old drunk guy sitting up at the bar? Just go ask him what he thinks. Pretty good bet he thinks Iowa will roll even though there's no way he could name more than a couple of their players and none of ISU's.

Seriously, why would you care what they think?
