I'm over it. I like everything Prohm has done so far. I believe we will be in good shape. Who knows, maybe Prohm will do better with this team than Hoiberg did? You never know.

I will admit, it does feel weird watching interviews over here in Illinois with Fred in a Bulls shirt.

I'm not over it quite yet.

No hard feelings for any parties involved, and think Prohm will do great, it's just sad. Will miss seeing him on the sidelines and reading about the rest of the country thinking he's so dreamy.

and the youtube videos.

I have to admit, I still have some hard feelings and am not over it. I know it was his dream to coach in the NBA. I'm still having a hard time with the fact that he used ISU as a stepping stone. Maybe if Prohm has a lot of success and Fred shows himself to be still loyal to the program and its fans I will begin to see it differently. I guess I'm still butt-hurt.

I'm getting over Hoiberg leaving. The best help has been Prohm's recruiting. And now to watch some clips from his practices and interviews with players. I love what I'm seeing and hearing.

Hoiberg belonged in Ames, but Prohm looks really, really good so far. If he turns out to be the coach who can take this team to higher heights, then I suppose I have to thank Fred for getting out of the way.

I'm still not over Johnny retiring so you already being over Fred is quick. I mean, at least let Prohm have some wins and give us reason to put the love behind us. NOTHING WRONG WITH MOURNING!!!

Actually, believe it or not, I have moved to a point where I am more excited about Prohm than Fred. I think he will bring a more complete game to ISU, has a passion for college ball, and doesn't shy from recruiting.

Does this mean Hoiberg is allowed to be an alum and fan of ISU sports again and attend events without the "stop stealing the spotlight from Prohm" crowd going rabid? Or are we still too immature to have them in proximity of each other without freaking out?

Not sure I'll ever quit missing Fred. But I won't miss the "when will he go to the NBA" scenario every year. Sometimes it was difficult not to get caught up in when we'd lose him as our coach than enjoying the ride, however short. Guess we have to remember the good 'ole "don't cry because its over, smile because it happened" cliche. Regardless...ready to fully support Prohm ...now its his home.

I'm excited for Prohm, the guy is going to see first-hand what HILTON MAGIC is all about. We have the BEST fan base in the entire country. Hilton freaking rules, it's going to be awesome for him. He's going to love the loyalty, basketball smarts, the nice Midwestern spirit our fans have. I'm excited for him to be at OUR university. We all know we can win it all right now with this '15-16 squad in place. Many loyal Cyclones are ready for him to take us to that next level. We all need to get behind him, right now.

Fred was and will always be a Cyclone. He was great and deserved to coach ISU. But, I would like to think when we look back after a couple of years of Prohm at the helm, that Fred helped set the table for Cyclone Basketball to be in the national spot light for a long-long time. And, that will always be special. Here's to Prohm taking this wonderful job/opportunity to the next level! And remember, there's probably going to be some little Hoiberg's in an ISU uniform again down the road.

GO PROHM! GO CYCLONES!

Wanna coach in the NBA, OK. But talking to Minnesota about the Gopher job still makes me wonder what was going on. Not past that one yet.....

One way to look at things, and this is honestly the approach I think Hoiberg took, was the NBA was his dream but he loved ISU and saw a struggling program he wanted to help. Instead of making this his stepping stone, he knew he could put our school in a place that's successful, revive Hilton Magic, and turn this school into a program to be proud of. Now he's put our basketball in a perfect place to win a national championship, bring in recruits to a program that is great, and will always be willing to help a coach that he and JP think can keep the success going with. At first I felt used by now I think he did the perfect thing for this program while still being able to accomplish his lifelong goal. That is why, at least I, will consider him the greatest thing to happen to the ISU basketball program.
