That he didn't tell the players is worse than Chizik's 2 minute goodbye where he didn't look one player in the eye

It was noted by two posters on here that the offensive staff hated each other, that was obviously correct.

I feel like the details are going to be a slow drip and not for the better.

Re: Mangino Out as OC

I think this has been coming since the iowa game. Rhoads made the comment about Sturdy screaming to get on th eball after the Lazrd cacth ruled a first down before the review. when asked why Lanning didn't get more snaps against TCU, he stated that was on the offensive staff.

I think anyone paying attention could see CPR wanted more Lanning to play and Mangino was hindering that.

Some people on the board will have a hard time...they complain CPR meddles too much in the offensive but they also want Lanning.

Yeah, they want to blame every move on Rhoads. And while Rhoads is accountable for the results, it is possible that Mangino made some bad decisions too.

Mangino has forgot more about Offensive football than Rhoads will ever know.....It's just a coaches spat and I really think that Rhoads is really feeling the heat and this is his way to shift the blame for another Lousy Season of Football.

I can see a win over KState and another year of RhoadsBall............

Well, I guess that's one way to make sure you're kept on until the end of the season, fire the obvious interim head coach option on your staff.

So what was the factions? Sturdy and Lou vs. Tommy and Mark?

The problem (as shown by OC revolving door) is Rhoads thinking he understands offensive philosophy when he doesn't.

Pretty clear Mangino didn't want to accept Lanning as the starter going forward.

Rhoads: "He's (Mangino) decided not to accept the direction we are wanting to go."

People will put this on Rhoads but Mangino has wanted to do everything his way from Day 1 and that can't always be the case when you aren't the head coach.

He was never going to be fired mid-season. That might be what you want to happen, but it wasn't going to happen.

So I guess Sturdy and Rhoads were on the Lanning train, and Mark was sticking with Sam? I guess that would make sense.

How many Offensive coordinators do we need to go through before someone realizes that Paul is the issue?
