Switched over to M+M to hear what they were saying about the hire as M+A were talking about something else.
That was a huge mistake, everyone should not renew their tickets according to them. Terrible hire, president is out of control, Jamie is looking for a new job, etc.
Oh and the best part they said. Bill Clinton is a big fan of their show and he listens to it.
The **** the spout out that is so inaccurate is unbelievable. No idea how they are still on the air. Their ratings are not even above 1%.

Martha's dentist probably gave him some bad insider info once again. :biglaugh: Not surprised they are being critical of the hire, pretty sure just about anyone we hired they'd have a negative view of. If it were TJ it probably would have been we're stupid for hiring a guy with no HC experience, ISU job is not as great as everyone says it is, etc. So glad I stopped listening to those 2 clowns a long time ago, haven't missed them 1 bit.
Yeah Marty has gone to Stanley Cup finals games, WS games, Notre Dame games.....must have advertisers that like to give him vacations.
He is just lucky Ken Miller rescued him from obscurity. I like Ken actually but rarely listen to the show because Marty is awful. Plus CW is on at the same time!
Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to the scumbag that is Marty Tirrell. Anyone who associates with him deserves whatever bad that eventually will happen to them in their dealings with him. He's screwed over or treated people badly so many times it's a wonder why anyone would ever do business with him again but apparently he has something working for him because he's basically the herpes of the Des Moines media.
He has some kind of legal but unethical ticket business going judging from some of the nuggets that I get from the show.
Yes. I've often wondered this. He must have a sugar momma or he's fleecing a bunch of new stooges. But he travels a lot to big time games. He's a dirt ball. Used to love their show, but can't stand him anymore. Ken Miller has really gone down in my book since reuniting with him.
I'm with you on this one. I think Ken was one of the best interviewers on the radio when he was with KXNO. Now that he's with Marty i can't stand to listen. I downloaded the podcasts for a while because of Ken, but almost dreaded listening to them as Marty is such an idiot, so i stopped that too.

Since he doesn't have money (obviously) I just assumed he has connections having been in sports broadcasting this long. I doubt he is paying his own way.
I'm not down on their show like last few comments, but it is #2 when I turn on the radio. I always check out KXNO first.

Can't believe people listen to that show on purpose..... Liked Ken Miller but haven't listened other than one nauseating hour I tried it when they first got back together. Had to take Dramamine for a week to get over that virus.
How could you not be down on their show? It is just 2 hours of classless low blows, dirtball comments and treat callers like trash.
I listen to alot of local radio in other markets as I have favorite pro sports teams in 3 diff markets. None run a show that those *** hats.
