Their marathon looks like a nice one.
I'm thinking of running it so that Memorial Stadium finally gets a highlight on their video board.
This could mean nothing as he could have still talked to the search firm.

I heard some interesting names today.

Maybe. But why would a coach like Herman make it more difficult for another school to hire him away. He wouldn't need to agree to a contract extension. And he knows he is most likely gone after this year. So why introduce a potential obstacle? Assuming, of course, that the buy-out was increased.
Why does everyone say this? We just had one of these searches less than six months ago, with the same search firm, and we knew many (if not most, or all) of the contenders' names - including Steve Prohm's.
That was a new offer. I'm pretty sure that the new contracted hadn't been accepted or signed. It was just basically Houston telling Herman that he would be paid if he decided to stay.

Normal, Illinois is home of Illinois State. Their HC is Brock Spack, who WRNL listed as a potential candidate.
Just to be clear, I don't really think we're meeting with Brock Spack but it is fun to view this flight trackers this time of year to see who might be visiting who.

You don't think it's Spack? Please say why you think this. I ask, because he might have left after practice today (ISU is playing in the FCS playoffs Saturday, right?) and return before practice tomorrow. It's plausible. Keep up the eye in the sky work. <g>
