I have noticed Monte talking a bit more about himself in interviews than he's asked ever since he's been here. Who really cares though? He sounds like a great guy that loves his teammates and is far from selfish on the court.

Almost had all 5 starters in double digits. Thought Naz would have been a lock with those 2 early three's.

Is it just me or can Monte completely take over a game at will? That was my biggest observation from tonight. When he felt the game was too close early in second half he scored at will and kinda took over. Really impressive.

I don't think he's quite there but each game he's getting closer. When he finally has that gear, that's when he's ready for the NBA. One of these games he's going to drop 30 like Niang just did.

He seems to be loving the ability to shoot those long twos Fred hated so much. Feels like he's shooting about 80 percent on those shots.

I have felt all year that Georges was just biding his time, letting his teammates do their thing. Hit a few stretches tonight with the combination of poor shot selection and poor shooting that got them in trouble last year, and Georges just turned it on. Problem will be when we hit those stretches against better competition.

Monte isn't the selfish one on the team, McKay is, come on. Too bad he couldn't play against Nerlens Noel.
