It's the end of the CMC era explained at the beginning all nice and easy peasy. I wanted to get ahead of the Fire Coach Cambell threads. Time travel and statistics and all.

Too much too soon?

There hasn't been one practice yet.

If your that convinced this whole process is futile, then just stop being a fan. Stop posting and give the rest of us a break.

Got it. I didn't initially realize what kind of poster you were. That's my mistake. You're really no better than the "sunshine pumpers" you decry, just on the opposite end of the spectrum. Hopefully at some point you'll realize there's a large amount of space in the middle ground.

Wait, I quoted statistics. No sunshine nor ****, statistics. Yeah, I interpreted them "negatively" and didn't pump that **** full of hot air for a load of foul smelling gas to go along with it. CF has that covered.

I just don't know what kind of middle ground there is between 10 of 10 and sunshine that is realistic. Care to share?

To the Rhoads coaching point: Hiring Mangino was the official end of the Paul Rhoads era. Not having a o-coord coach who was a pound the ball B10/SEC pro-style guy with a little spread thrown in from the get go was his fatal flaw. He didn't build relationships of mutual respect and get along with his Offensive coaches along the way, or at least not good ones that would follow him to ISU. There was always visible discord with ALL of his offensive coordinators, usually seen on game day rants or weekly press day firings. That includes Hermann, who would dish it back. Not a good way to build a team.

On point two, I don't care. And the stats suggest it doesn't matter. They will get the same level of talent, regardless.

I leave one exception: When Harbaugh interviewed for the job and was "dropping F bombs duriing the interview" and likely using ISU to get a better deal elsewhere, Pollard should have called him out on it and said the following:

"It sure looks to me like you're trying to not get hired and are using me to get yourself more money where you think you want to go."

Regardless of Harbuaghs' BS response he immediately slides a contract to Harbaugh and says: So you have the job. Do you accept?

When he says he has to look it over and stalls, he says: "How much? Just put in the figure your agent says you're going to get at the other school and add a little more - but only if you sign it now."

When he balks and get up to walk out of the room, "You underestimate the value of having an ISU turnaround on your coaching resume. If Gene Chizik can go 5-17 and then get hired to win a national championship without the abiltiy to coach, imagine what it would do for you. And you underestimate you drawing power - or you fear the challenge."

And with that, Replace the Stanford rise to ISU, but probably lower level of success, like 9 win seasons. That is the biggest failure is recent ISU athletics. To have a bona fide coaching whale on campus interviewing and to not seal the deal.

Let me guess, the pharmacy was closed over Christmas and your Clozapine prescription has run out. Slowly call 911 and ask them to bring the jacket with no sleeves. You will eventually be okay.

Just so I'm understanding correctly, the OP is already calling Campbell a failure 4 weeks into the job? That's fantastic, really. Who knows if he'll succeed or fail, but not even giving the guy a month on the job when he's literally changed every negative aspect of the program is, to be nice, shortsighted. He's already moved the class ranking up 20 spots from where it was when he took over and is nowhere near done. Brilliant strategy to go ahead and make the assumption he's going to fail based on nothing substantial. You must be a real joy outside of this place.

Campbell has been on the job for about a month and we have gone from the 91st rated recruits to 61st on Rivals and from last place in the Big 12 to 8th place.

Yes I am impressed. I am excited about some of the really big undecided recruits we actually have a shot at getting in this recruiting class. For a new staff to come into a school and in one month do what Campbell is doing is damn impressive. It is idiotic to suggest that nothing has changed on the recruiting front because it has. We just had the highest rated QB we have gotten in years, enroll for the second semester at ISU.

If you look on ISU current roster page here, sort by position and look up QBs here is what you see:

Sam B. Richardson .8083
Joel Lanning .8120
Grant Rohach .8621

Your dude Zeb? .8302

Sorry you feel like reality makes you need hallucinogenic mind drugs to deal. Get some help. You wife would appreciate it, if you still have one. Anger management, sensitivity training and domestic violence support group.

It will be hard but worth it in the end. You'll thank me in the end. So, you're welcome in advance.

You do realize you just indirectly called yourself a troll.

You do realize you just called CF troll central and implicated yourself as a troll participant by interpreting this as trolling?

And you are implying I'm a troll because you don't like what I'm saying and desperately emotionally need it to be false or you will feel bad. So much easier to slander. All you slanderous/dismissive types remind me of this article:

Anesthesiologist trashes sedated patient — and it ends up costing her http://wpo.st/jYzz0

What you are doing is no different and avoids and substantive factual argument to defend you point.

Most people with a problem like your's don't think they need meds either. Once the ambulance arrives they will have you in that comforting white padded room in no time.

The dellusion here is classic. You're not doing us any favors with your supposed foresight. We all undestand very well the history of the school. What exactly does that have to do with the here and now?

Location: Houston, Texas............I get it, Campbell is smart enough to know that for ISU, Texas is not the god send in recruiting that some want to portray. That would **** me off if he thought that about Ohio. It's okay to feel scorned. Can't wait for your psycho babble directed to me and my cranium. Fire away!

No, you're dismissing a coach that's been on the job for a month and hasn't even coached a single minute of practice for us yet.

Repeating a false statement apparently makes it so for you. This is also a sign of delusional thinking and serious mental disease. Get help and try to not project your issues onto others.

You're sick. And not very nice, but anyone who knows you could probably have told you that. But they wouldn't because they don't want the emotional and verbal assault you hide behind.

In case no one could tell already, if there is a controversial opinion presented that you may not agree with, it's obviously a hawk troll and in no possible way just another normal Cyclone follower that has a differing view and/or opinion than your own.

Dissent is not welcome in these parts! Personal pride is of high value on this fine website establishment.

So in other words, he brought in a quarterback rated higher than any other quarterback we have on currently on the roster. After one month on the job.

Congratulations on seeing sunshine where I see the same thing over and over again.

You did see Rohach was .0300 better than your dude right? Yeah, he's not on the roster now, but he was considered better out of HS that Jeb right?

You did see I said current roster right? Should I be celebrating the rating of a guy that isn't even here?
