I knew we had it in the bag, but I'd like to see us keep defending and rebounding, and not play to the score. I realize it's tough not to have a little bit of a mental letdown once the game is in hand, and you have a big game coming up, but 54 points in a half to a team without a win over a D1 team is atrocious.

There was zero point in doing so knowing that the game was over except to waste energy. The game was over and everyone knew it. A 20 point game is a 20 point game and it's unreal that fans can find a way to ***** about it.

We were running ISOs for Stu by the end of the game. Come on man.

"Zero point" in continuing to defend and rebound because the game was in hand? You can't possibly believe that's the case..

At the level you seem to be expecting from a bunch of bench players seeing their first real minutes of D1 bball, yes.

If you're ****** about this game, just watch UNLV for 5 minutes and you'll feel much better.

You called that one...absolutely insane how little that guy manages to get out of his talent on an annual basis.

Watching the end of that loaded squad's home loss to Fresno State has me in a bit better spirits.

I'm glad no one got hurt by playing a full game of defensive intensity and our subs still got good minutes.

That number 12 guy was a colossal turd that could have easily hurt one of our guys. He was fouling Georges constantly before he decided to try and rip off Matt's head.

There was another game recently where some jerkoff on a scrub team was taking shots at Niang and I'll admit I was incredibly nervous of what a pointless way that would be to have an injury.

You don't want players who back down from that, but it's not a bad thing when the game is out of hand to get your stars to the bench.

Really good crowd tonight, with the students gone tons of families there tonight. Lots of kids getting their 1st taste of Hilton Magic. Had 3 sets of kids around us tonight and they were all really fun to listen to. Jameel seems to be their favorite little kids love the dunks! Easy game, good win, lots of fans having fun great way to end the year!

I was hoping Cooke would regain his confidence in this game, but he only seemed to fall deeper into his slump.

Other than that, I can't complain about this game. First 6 guys delivered.

Just because a team wins doesn't mean they played good..and just because a team loses, it doesn't mean they played bad.

It's not as black and white as people like yourself make it out to be.

I don't see anyone saying that we played particularly good. The point is that we didn't need to, and part of what makes it seem that way was Coppin State shooting a ridiculous percentage from 3. I'm not thrilled with the way we boxed out, or our awareness/effort on defense at times, but we still got all our bench guys some serious minutes and held them at arms length pretty easily.

This was honestly the only thing I hoped to have happen last night, and its why I'm upset with the win.

Too bad more people like you and your kids aren't enjoying the journey with a Top 10/11 team. Instead some want to discredit every game we play. Enjoy the ride people!

I think the shot he hit towards the end of the game will help him a lot. He looked relieved like a 50,000 lbs weight had just disappeared off his back.

Man, what is wrong with his shot? I don't think any of his threes that he hoisted last night even looked like they had the chance of going in. And I think he's missed the rim once in each of the last two games. Just the opposite of what I saw the first 3 weeks. Sure hope he can get back on track. Pretty obvious, too, to see why Naz was the back up point before shutting it down.

John Walters (or maybe it was Eric) said that it looks like he's thinking while he's shooting (or while getting ready to shoot). I agree. Nothing about it looks natural right now. He just needs to get his feel for the game back.

I saw that Monte got to 400 assists in 82 games an Tinsley did it in 62 games. Curious how many turnovers does Monte have and how many did Tinsley have when he got to 400 assists?
