They still do the team shoe deal, look at Georges and Jameel's shoes from tonight for that. But as long as they are Nike/Jordan they are free to wear whatever they want. I think it is kind of neat to see the different styles of shoes they all wear, as long as we keep winning! :spinny:

Not exactly sure.
Son said they get X amount to go towards shoes (at least wrestling) and they can divvy it up.however. 8 cheaper pairs or 3 very high enders, whatever. Just have to stay under the amount.

The choice of shoe color this year has been odd.

Son had a high school basketball game last night, so after the game we went to eat and watch the rest of the game. Walk in to see the game on across several TV's in the place and before we even get to the table my wife says 1) Burton is wearing blue socks 2) what is up with Monte's shoes 3) Monte got a new haircut. Liked it better before.

in that same period of time, I determined we were up by 6.

Not worried about his shoes - maybe he needs to put on big boy pants and stop dribbling around. Lost ball OB on crucial possession and took a 3 he rarely makes. Trying to be NBA prospect rather than team oriented PG rarely works. Accolades follow success - hype is s***. Get to tourney and past first rounds - then the scouts will pay attention.

OK, when he starts making those mistakes at or above the level of a normal college point guard, I'll go with you. As of now, it was an uncharacteristic night where he made a few mistakes at a time when it was critical. Lay off, stop being a jackwagon.
