If we can? I know we can, it's the if that's the question. I think it WILL happen, but I doubt the pollsters will move us up into the top 5. It seems to me they're always rationalizing us not being worthy, but that doesn't worry me. We just need to take care of business and get to the tourney with a good seed. If Cy's posse brings their A game, NOBODY is safe!

You know I meant that we can. Let's think about this: ISU is ranked 19th and with the win over the #1 team in the country, we will likely move ahead of Butler, Miami, Virginia, Arizona, SMU, Maryland, and Xavier. That puts us at 12th in the polls with both Kansas and TAMU being ahead of us in the polls. If we win both of those games, we are definitely ahead of both teams, and could leapfrog a bunch of other teams after having a successful week. It's definitely possible to be back where we were ranked in the preseason by winning this week. I think three consecutive wins over AP top 10 teams will install some confidence back in the voters.

I woke up feeling good about this game, ISU's recent success vs KU (wins in 3 out of last 4) with a better starting 5 and the infamous Hilton Magic will give the Cyclones the victory in the end. As always with Self and KU when looking wobbly they are at their most dangerous and shouldn't be taken lightly. I don't see the Cyclone Seniors not being focused from the tip.
Two keys to the game, I'll be watching is KU's 3 pt shooting agains ISU's defense and if the refs are calling a close game. Either goes in the Jayhawk favor this game will be very stressful.

It's pretty cool all the similarities between the two teams, really. Mason and Morris both have excellent push offs that get them space for shots and both teams have old man power forwards that are best described as "limited athletically". Makes for a fun match up.

It doesn't **** off Jayhawk fans. It makes us laugh at you that it's still a big deal to win a game you're favored to win. Storming the court should only **** off other ISU fans.
