A Storm is Brewing seems to be the new theme on the football side. So a major song with " Storm" in it.
Theme from the movie A Perfect Storm, maybe . Something like that . " Riding the Storm Out" . Might be to old .

that would be ******* bad ***. pantera was my first concert. but you are right, the fogies wouldn't know what to do.

I like all the "fogies" comments. I'm 47 and have been to enough concerts in my life to deafen a normal 18-20 something student today. The problem is...a lot of those "old fogies" helped build Jack Trice, the SEZ, the scoreboard, the practice facility, etc etc etc. I'm not saying that makes them any more important than an everyday joe blow fan, but do you really think JP is going to alienate the very people that put a lot of money into the improvements at ISU?Wi

with that said...Walk would sound absolutely horrible on the JTS sound system.

They should choose whatever the players and recruits want. The intro should not be about what the fans want that is just silly. If the intro gets the players pumped and impresses recruits thats all the matters. Fans will take a better team over a intro song anytime. When your team is better you will make more revenue anyways.

The fans that want the intro to be a pantera song will not be the ones jumping around and going crazy. Any song that the players choose should get the students pumped as well. They can always play songs that the crowd likes during timeouts.

Any fan that wants a Pantera song to be the intro is out of their mind...A song that gets the crowd jumping and going crazy will get the team doing the same and even more so with the fans into it.

Honestly, I could care less what the entrance is. I like the idea of Bring Em Out by TI as much as Walk. I never liked smoke on the water, but have always thought it was stupid how much some ******* about it. Same goes with sweet caroline. You know what will pump the crowd up? Winning some ******* football games. Do that and you can play the ******* lamb chop song as entrance as far as I'm concerned.
