I'm not saying that, I'm saying not every body can "bulk" up. Could he add 5 lbs of muscle? Yes. Could he put on 20 pounds of lean bulk? Doubt it. Adding 5 lbs of muscle to his body frame wouldn't even be noticeable. So you're saying he can't add weight or muscle?
Fair enough. I wonder how much he benches and squats.I'm not saying that, I'm saying not every body can "bulk" up. Could he add 5 lbs of muscle? Yes. Could he put on 20 pounds of lean bulk? Doubt it. Adding 5 lbs of muscle to his body frame wouldn't even be noticeable.
Some athletes (actually a lot of athletes) are hard gainers. Their metabolisms are so high, they just burn everything so fast. I've trained so many tall, lanky guys and it takes years for them to add a little muscle. They get a lot stronger, but not bulkier. It's genetics. Eating a lot and lifting a lot does not guarantee strong, bulky, muscular people.
Anyone can bulk up. It's all about diet and how often you lift.
Probably not that much because his levers are so damn long. He has to move the weight almost twice as far as the average adult male.Fair enough. I would how much he benches and squats.

Do you even lift bro//????Fair enough. I would how much he benches and squats.
Disagree totally. I've trained beside lots of "hardgainers" and skinny, lanky guys. If you put in the effort, muscle size will come. Genetics is important, yes, but I doubt McKay puts in the effort. You have to do more than just "spend time" in the weight room. And five lbs of muscle would become VERY noticeable on someone like McKay.I'm not saying that, I'm saying not every body can "bulk" up. I doubt he's ever deadlifted before. His squat max can't be too high. I bet he can squat 165-185 on a good day. Cleans also can't be too high. I'd say 115.I'd be more interested in the deadlift, squat and clean numbers.
Yeah but a 6'7 olineman can also squat 500+ poundsProbably not that much because his levers are so damn long. He has to move the weight almost twice as far as the average adult male.

There are some good research articles that study this very topic being discussed. Without getting into too much detail, usually 25% of the participants saw a 0% gain in muscle cross-sectional area. Meaning, they did the exact same workout as everybody else but saw a 0% increase in muscular size. Meanwhile, more than 50% of the participants saw an increase in cross-sectional area. It's not always about effort (most of the time it is, and I don't know what McKay's effort level is in the weight room) but I do know for a fact that just lifting and eating will not always guarantee an increase in bulk.Disagree totally. This comes back to genetics. Does McKay look like an OL? Absolutely not. Is McKay built like Shaq? Nope. Not all bodies of the same height are engineered the same.Yeah but a 6'7 olineman can also squat 500+ pounds
Just a question. How come all of the other teams in the conference look physically dominant compared to us? Baylors bigs always look like beasts where Mckay looks like he's been a model for Victorias Secret with that feminine body of his. What is Moser's philosophy compared to other schools?
