Well, looks like I'm in trouble once again over yelling at the ******* this morning.

So this ***-hole is not only an ***-hole but a crybaby sissy that goes and complains because someone called him out for being an ***-hole?

Ah, does not make me nostalgic for my days as a manager/supervisor.

ok, I'm naive here. Do people smoke NyQuil? Or is this just a small cleavage pic?

I don't like the way painkillers have made me feel either, especially Vicodin. I felt like the pain was still there but I was sort of detached from it and it was in somebody else's body. I know that's confusing but it was weird. Maybe it was more like the pain was in my body but my pain receptors were in my soul, slightly detached from reality.

That's a pretty good description of it. Thanks!

Speaking of prescribed drugs, Has anyone ever done Valium for a while?
I was put on 30 mg a day for two weeks once, which I guess is a lot because the doctor said 10mg is the largest dose they make. I was in a fog for that entire time.

Not sure how people can be on it all the time unless you build up a tolerance to it.

I was going to make chicken parm last night. Needless to say I thought I had something at home that I didn't.
Ended up with carryout pizza and beer.

No wonder 70's fashion was so messed up with women popping Valium all day and cocaine all night.

Was on it for a couple days in HS after my elbow was popped backwards and they needed to relax me to put back in. I stopped taking then because I had a notion that I could heal in a week and be back and anything in my system would slow the healing.

Can't even hear the word "Valium" without thinking of this song. Showing my age, I guess. :)

I finally got up the courage to venture into GTO's poll. GTO - You are a master at encapsulating my thoughts as it pertains to Cyclone basketball games. Your attention to detail and obscure references remind me of Dennis Miller at his finest or Mrs. JCyclonee when she is critiquing the mess I made in the kitchen.

I don't think prescription drugs hit me that hard. I got my wisdom teeth taken out and doubled my intake of painkillers that night and went to a party. But I never felt like I was in a fog or high at all

You might consider the fact that my observations come from someone who doesn't mind having a drink or two, but who absolutely HATES being drunk. I don't like not being able to control my thoughts/actions, etc.

BTW - painkillers & partying can be a recipe for disaster (painkillers don't mix with driving or drinking). I wouldn't advise trying that again.

A high school classmate of mine passed away today from a heart attack he suffered about a week ago. He was only 33.

I've had 9 die so far. We're averaging over 1.5 a year and we're less than 5 years since HS graduation. I had a huge class compared to most Iowa Schools though.
