I'm looking for a good concealer/foundation, btw. Probably won't pick that one.

Concealer - MAC pro long wear

Foundation, that depends on the coverage that you want. I've been using UD Naked Skin but I think it's too watery. Going to go back to MAC soon, but was checking out what else was out there.

person A has been running this program for five? months now and they are still ******* up the easy things. I put in a big damn hint last month when I said to the whole team that I would be making a checklist of things to check each time after some easy stuff (not really my fault) was again missed. And that we should do the same for other portions of the program. This month I stuck in another reminder saying "remember to run x before y" even though it's totally not my responsibility. But Person A messed that up twice in a row so I reminded. Now I just overheard that they messed up something else for probably the third time - they've done it wrong so many times that even I know not to do it and I don't even have access to what they are talking about.
Person B pointing this out to them is like MAKE A GODDAMN LIST AND CHECK **** OFF (more diplomatically than that).

The best part? Person B ran this program for a total of three times last summer while my boss was out. They've run it fewer times than person messing it up and THEY are the ones telling them what they are doing wrong. Because there are directions, and they followed them last summer so they get out it works. IDK what Person A is doing.

and now trying to make an email on another issue sound more diplomatic. I'm throwing so many hard dodgeballs tonight.

Should just try getting a promotion instead.

Right now I pretty much use a concealer as foundation. I don't want anything very heavy - probably more of a CC cream thing with sunscreen in it. I've heard of the MUFE, that UD one, and a Nars as good foundations. Then another Nars, MUFE, and Mac as concealers.

I just need to go to Sephora and get them to try some out on me.

oh and my purse gets here today. Yaaaaaay.

This whole post seems very WASP-ish.

Well, I learned a new word today that I really didn't need to know.

Cstrunk went all George Will on us. I can usually figure out the meaning of Will's stuff by context, this I had to google. Didn't know there was a word for it.

Gave me a bad flashback to when the late great Sasha the Bagel Dog got old and senile and did this sometimes.

A lot of times I will initially guess the exact opposite of the meaning of words that George Will uses until I remember which opinion he generally aligns with.

On a somewhat related note. Did anybody else have trouble with the word prohibited growing up? The beginning of the word is "pro" which I generally thought to be a word that meant in favor of something. I would then see signs that said stuff like "Swimming is prohibited near the dam", "Smoking is prohibited near the fuel pumps" or "Shoplifting is prohibited" and think, "Why are these places in favor of these bad things?" It's probably just me.

Z can almost get her leg over the crib side. I had a chat with her this morning trying to explain that she could fall and get hurt.

So, which comes first toddler bed or the training to be diaper-less? Decisions, decisions.

Thankfully MrsWx handled bath time last night since LittleWX decided to poop in the tub. She even cleaned it up!

In my defense I was switching the laundry when the incident occurred and washed the dishes during the cleaning.

I hear that happens to everyone at some point...... Hopefully I haven't jinxed myself.

Look CG, reason #153735564 to question having kids: pooping in the tub and having to clean it up.

Hell my 6 year old peed in the tub the other day. Just a little fountain up out of the water.

"What are you doing Grady?!?!"

"Oops."

He got out of the tub right away and finished.

We had one kid poop while we were giving two kids a bath at once. The older one was mortified that all of a sudden there was poop floating around in the tub. However, it is still an occasional topic of conversation between them.

My ex wasn't big on following instructions regarding kid maintenance...he had to learn from experience.

He decided to change our infant son's diaper. He put son on OUR bed, with nothing (not even a fresh diaper) underneath. He gets the diaper off and tosses it to the pail. Meantime the fountain of youth starts up...so he throws the fresh diaper on top of son. Then the "solid" waste starts emerging (remember this is on OUR bed). He tries to stop it with his hand....parents of breast-fed babies will know what I mean when I say that was completely futile. I hear him hollering for me and I come in to find him holding the diaper on top, his other hand full to overflowing with liquid poop...

Fortunately nothing made it through to the mattress, but everything (including son) had to be thoroughly washed. :) And lest you think that permanently excused him from changing diapers...nope. But he DID learn to use the changing pads after that.

Neither one of my kids has done the poop in the tub thing. Baby GTO did have an incident a couple of weeks ago where it looked like his diaper just exploded and poop was everywhere. I was holding him at the time and had to wash my clothes right away. Wife ended up throwing away his onesie. It was that bad.

Yeah, those are fun. My son didn't have many blowouts, but he did have one at a rest area in the middle-of-nowhere North Dakota. My wife was waiting in the car. I went in with a fully clothed infant, and came out with a diaper-only infant. She was confused.

Of course, this was one of the those "throw-back" rest areas that think that fathers don't change diapers so changing tables aren't necessary in the men's room, so I got to deal with it on the floor.
