How long would you wait before deciding that you've been stood up?

What an inconsiderate thing to do...

Start this thread and then bounce without keeping the rest of CF updated.

When I was younger and more insecure, I would have waited and probably made a phone call that made me look even more desperate. Now, I'd figure that someone probably isn't showing within about 5 minutes and move on with my life.

If I waited 53 minutes for a first date, my wife would probably be pretty upset.

10 minutes. If she's a 10/10 and you really out punted your coverage, probably 30 minutes based on *hope*

Forgot to add, I actually have a buddy that got stood up on a date and he ended up meeting his wife. Went to the bar to "wait", of course 30 minutes, 45, 60 pass and he's on drink however many. A girl is also there, in a very similar situation. They strike up a convo, bam, married.

So kids, maybe you should wait longer for that date standing you up in hopes something better comes along?

After a series of drinks, send her a johnson pic and say sorry babe, your loss! Then stalk her on Facebook and key her car. Then I would write a poem and threaten to kill myself. After she came to her senses I would propose in a very extravagant way and spend about $10,000 on a ring that looks like a dragon.

This is why you never go to CF for advice.

I'd say it depends on your age, but at any age, it depends on how close you are to a local dive bar.

Chances are good for a better random night at the dive bar than trying to be with someone you had to wait for.

If the other was a '10/10', they're about as valuable as dirt if they simply don't show up without a decent explanation.

She showed up. She's hot. She's cool. She wanted to make up for being late. Turned out better than expected. She did go to OU though
