I'd take Uconn and cincy. Uconn is garbage at football that'll be an easy W
New York (state) population...about 20 million
Connecticut population...about 3.6 million

ACC teams being added is a smoke screen. Not happening.I am not sure why we would need to add Cinci and UCONN BEFORE adding ACC schools? I would say skip Cinci and UCONN and go straight to the four ACC schools to match the conference numbers of the Big 10 and SEC.

Seneca Wallace disagrees
No, I'm pretty sure he would agree and admit there is no way in hell ISU should have lost to them. Has everyone forgot we beat them with Steele Jantz as our QB at their place? If you want proof their program is garbage there you go.
No sources for any of this?
Hope it's true though. UConn and Cincinnati would be good additions. Especially if it gets a Big 12 Network and the chance to poach some top ACC schools.
. So turning the Big 12 into the WAC conference sounds appealing ?? The day we invite the aforementioned schools in bold above-- is the day Texas and Oklahoma gives the Big 12 the middle fingerI never understood the decision to add Rutgers to the big10. Obviously, the TV subscription revenues were attractive. But Rutgers? Heck, I'm not sure Rutgers is the most popular college program in NJ. Add to that the ineptness of their FB and BB programs, they are a misfit in the Big10.
IMO Cincy is a solid choice because of their proximity to the Big12 footprint. UConn or BYU are both outliers to the Big12 footprint. They would just replace WVU as the only child.
With BYU and Loisville, I forces the Big12 to expand west and go after schools like CSU, UNLV, New Mexico.
With Louisville and UConn, that signals a desire to add 2 to 4 ACC schools. While FSU would be the crown jewel. I would think new members of the ACC like Pitt, Louisville or Boston College might be more likely to bolt.

It just amazes me how many people don't get that having a weaker division is much more beneficial. The big ten messed that up the first time but quickly corrected to the current weak west division.
The weak division props up bad teams and makes average teams look great ( see Iowa).
When they finally have to play someone good, no one cares and their record is still good. The knowledgeable fans see the reality of a bad division and aren't swayed by wins over bad teams.
There is no downside to unequal divisions.
Trade WV for Mizzou, add Fighting Eustachys and New Mexico and be done.
