I haven't had a chance to go back and watch the game, but at one point, it looked like another missed goal tending. There was a shot that looked like it was in and then a defensive player swatted hit the net and the ball popped back out. Did anyone else notice it?

People that think the number of fouls at the end of the game matter don't get this. Two properly timed ticky tack fouls on GN out weigh 8 fouls called late in the game on OU.

Wait, aren't you the same folks that screamed up and down a few years ago that calls made late in the game are way more impactful than those earlier on? If I remember correctly, it was something about having more time to adjust to and recover from the latter as opposed to the former. Why the sudden reversal?

Kentucky fans are convinced they would only have one loss if it weren't for corrupt officials this season.

What's your point?
When ISU was neck and neck with KU at Phog, the KU board was littered with posts whinning about the refs, Niang traveling, getting screwed, etc. You act like KU fans don't complain about officiating when they're down. Get real.

I did watch the whole game. I think the problem with ISU is there is a momentum killer at least 5 times a game for you guys. ISU either has a chance to extend the lead or cut it closer and someone will throw up a contested 3 with 22 on the shot clock.

Bigger mo killers were Naders 2 drives that shoulda been +1's. One he was called for a travel, 2nd was the Buddy block. Both reviewed in slow motion and confirmed by the announcers to be obviously wrong.
Missing a three hurts, but making 2 great 3 point plays and having refs yank the points is a real mo killer.

Any real good coach has (Bill Self) would have got a technical by now sticking up for his team and not let the reffs get away with this crap. Prohm needs to speak up.

How's that work for Fran? Having a coach throw a tirade on the sidelines doesn't guarantee anything. He can still work the refs without acting like an *****. I've heard people say Prohm needs to start coaching and act like he cares by yelling at the refs. People really think he doesn't care?

I agree getting those plays to go against a team hurts...but the refs have to make that call in real time...they don't get to see multiple slow motion replays like the fans. being a ref is the most difficult job because they can do no right, some fan base is always going to be angry against them.

I am sure none of you idiots will be complaining about the refs when Kansas gets sent home by an 8 seed again.

there will be fans complaining about the refs, every fan base does that. I am not one of them...the refs aren't going to get every call right. he game is too fast for them to get everything right.

yeah because the type of fans that spend time telling other teams fans what to do on their message boards are the exact type of fans that don't complain about officiating.

Like i said, you all will be complaining as soon as you have refs that don't kiss your ***. If it is like the last 2 years, it will be in round 2.

I want ISU to do good in the tourney as well as Baylor and OU. other big 12 teams I don't care if they win or lose, and ISU doesn't have a lot of room to talk about tourney success.

whenever a team loses a close game there is always going to be a call or 2 that could have changed the outcome of the game. refs are always going to miss calls, they are human and things happen so quick it is hard to get all the calls correct. people just need somebody to blame other than their team. every fan base is guilty of this.

This wasn't a case of complaining after the fact. These were constant complaints throughout the game. I was following on twitter and saw more complaints about the refs for this game than I have seen in 3 years. Even Chris Williams said he thought Eades would be trending on twitter because of how much was mentioned on his timeline. It wasn't just bad officiating last night. It was downright negligent by Eades. He should be fired for how he officiated the game.

Its going to be real fun seeing how the OU WV game is officiated. Buddy is obviously great but will he be immune to all calls tonight like he was last night? I guarantee OU won't win in the post-season if he ever forced to sit due to foul trouble.
