ISU beat the #1 overall seed, and certainly had a chance in Lawrence if some shots fall for ISU, but not for KU.

I feel like UVA is still the toughest team ISU has faced. If the shots fall and there isn't foul issues, ISU's got a chance late.

I'm hoping for nothing more than a ISU/KU NC game. It would be the most epic game ISU has ever played.

I think Georges and Jameel get in early foul trouble and the O struggles to get going.
Virginia out physicals ISU 72-62.
Sure hope I'm wrong.

First, I predict amarner will predict that the Cyclones will win by 100.

Second, I'm not sure what to predict myself. I think the first team to get to 70 points will win. Whether or not that's our boys, I don't know.....but I will also say that I think it's a coin flip. If ISU can get this done, I may set a new record for idiocy in the house. (God bless my poor saintly wife!) And the dog will be going ape-s**t with me, too, like always.

And then.......look out below!!!!! GO CLONES!!!!!

Virginia will not break 80 unless our defense flat out does not come to play, which I doubt. If ISU controls pace, they will win. However, I dont see that happening.

Down 2 with 12 ticks left we spread the floor and give it to Georges up top. He goes left but Monte is covered trying to curl to the middle so he crosses right. Lob to Jameel isn't there and they've got Matt locked down in the corner. Niang gets pushed a few feet from the lane and appears to settle for a toughly contested hook but instead makes an amazing cross court pass to Dooly in the left corner for the 75-74 win. I proceed to drink every last drop of alcohol in the house before driving to Casey's, buying all the booze they've got, and drinking every last drop.

I think it is a good match up for Iowa St. If they are hitting their threes they win because there is virtually no way Virginia is going to be able to keep up with them. Virginia has scored over 80 8 times this year, none over 90. Iowa St. has scored 80 or more in 20 games, and over 90 7 times. 4 times all year they have been held under 70.

If they aren't hitting their threes they can still score because they will push the pace no matter what.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I think Iowa St. can win this game.

I want this more than any matchup that could happen. I'd foam at the mouth like a raving lunatic, but it's worth it.
Kansas must be destroyed. For that, Virginia must be destroyed.

My Elite Eight tickets just arrived. Please make this happen, Cyclones. Pleeeeeeeease.
