Disagree. I think the last 3 or so episodes weren't very good, but there were some really good episodes in this season.
I think I am done being played by the writers of this. I know it's just a ******* comic book show but did they really have to do the "And stay tuned for next season to see if we did or did not follow the comic!"

This season was like all the others. Some good episodes, some bad, a lot of average.
The dumb thing about a cliffhanger like that is it'll be clear to everyone who's dead by the time next season rolls around. An actor wont be seen on set, that same actor will likely be signed on to another show, etc.
Nothing in this show exists for itself anymore. It's just ******** cliffhangers after ******** cliffhangers to try and keep the audience watching. Like I said before, this show isn't worth watching live. I'll just binge watch new episodes in 2 years on a lazy, hungover Sunday
Yeah... In most episodes its... 50 minutes of filler, 10 minutes of action to get you back for the next episode.
I don't think the writers even know who got offed. They'll strategize all summer and pick a story line they like.
This was a 40 minute episode that they dragged on for 60 (with 30 minutes of commercials)
They've already lost me from following the show live with the ridiculous commercial breaks so it's not a big deal for me to fast forward through the unnecessary garbage they put in for filler.

I've read the comic for years, so I know Negan and that scene were coming and it made all of the slow moments this half of the season tolerable because there were little things that they kept doing that hinted at who might end up getting killed by Negan. But then they pull this crap, very disappointed. And alarson is right, we'll know who was killed by the middle of summer. That **** doesn't stay secret in the internet age, see game of thrones for a perfect example. So it'll take any of the surprise out of it.
They really didn't need a cliffhanger. They could have at least ended it similar to the last episode of Game of thrones. Show the others reaction and pan out to show the character in all its battered glory. This is why regular tv can sometimes suck.
At least how game of thrones ended last season still has the book mystery so no one really has any true idea. I mean, people had 5 plus years to figure out the mystery, which kind of ruined it, but that's better than this ****.
