So they can "offer" 35 kids, but only give 20+ schollys and thats OK. Yet, a kid decommits and the coaches scream LOYALTY!!

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

The coach's tweet makes him sound like a 12 year old girl getting picked on at school. Drama...

I don't know how old the coach is, but it's sad that 16-18 year olds are being more mature than him on twitter.

Coaches move freely. Schools moved freely. Players moving freely is disloyal and a lack of character.

Even if the kid was just opportunistic, hat's off to him for being smart enough to play the hand he's dealt and win.

A teenager should be able to freely change his mind about where he wants to go to school until the minute he enrolls in August, without anyone blasting him on "loyalty" grounds or anything else

This coach sounds like a child and if I were a HS football WR considering A&M they'd pretty quickly move down my list because of this

Now throw in that the coach has been at 4 schools in 6 years, and his "loyalty" diatribe means next to nothing.

Not sure I'd agree with that. Up to the point he signs his LOI I think. But I also think if a coach leaves, players by rule should be allowed to transfer without penalty or having to sit.

I can agree with the time of the LOI signing so long as the player is 18 and considered to be an adult at the time he signs it

And I definitely 100% agree with the second sentence. Amazing how well the deck has been stacked against the student-athlete in NCAA athletics

Pretty silly for a grown man to take to social media to vent his frustrations, especially when it is related to his job.

Classic. This guy was blasting us 24 hours earlier. We do not need front runners. Please stay off the bus!

Amazing that a paper runs untrue statements using unnamed sources - especially when @ISUMayor32 told them ahead of time they were not true.

This is the best point made here. The SEC programs continually over sign. Whether it be before NSD or after a year or two, guys are told to hit the road and a guy that would have been welcomed at 90% of D1 schools is scrambling for a place to play.

Am I the only one that finds the #TexasTough tag funny when A$M uses it? They are so tough they ran away from the other Texas schools and don't play them regularly anymore.

It means next to everything. It means the guy is a manipulative jerk. His sense of loyalty is something for others not him. His(coach) display on twitter saved this young man from a big mistake.

Some people just don't mature/figure it out. It's interesting that it's also at ATM, which involves a former player/Heisman winner who behaves like he was basically trained to be a parasite.

One thing about social media/the interwebs is its ability to show just how juvenile people really are.

The coach who recruited this young man left and went to Cal. This would be too precious if it were to end up that this coach ended up being his new lead recruiter. I don't know that's the case, but it would be awesome.

Don't forget that student-assistant who got caught on national tv during the bowl game a few years ago giving the business to the WVU players.

Martell? Maybe A&M should recruit Falco's kid instead.

If all it takes is a tweet that a prospect doesn't like to decommitt then what the coach said is probably true regardless that he shouldn't have said it publicly.

Sounds like those decommitts, weren't 100% to begin with or they have been fluffed their whole lives and expect nothing but hero worship.
