90% of everything we get is meat and produce so I've never tried it. I also kind of like grocery shopping, finding it all online sounds annoying. We just never go at peak times.

This. Good for processed food in cans and boxes but if that is what you want why not just go to Walmart and save yourself 20% for every hundred dollars rather than flush it down the stool at HyVee?

I started out just using the online shopping to make my list. Then had a hard week to get there with toddler. I did pick up delivery. They have mostly been pretty good. Once a bag didn't get into my car, but they were great about getting the stuff missed and I went back to get it.

As for fresh bananas that has gone well. I cooked our meat pretty quick, so that wasn't an issue. The spinach has been great too.

My one real complaint is that I haven't found a feature that brings up your last order and an option to put it in the cart. I dislike needing to re-find the weekly options every week. (first world issues)

Easiest way I have found is to "favorite" your weekly items. Then you can all at once each week.

We haven't used it, but our friends with busier schedules, more kids and tighter budget swear by it (you have the total as you shop, so you don't have to guesstimate in your head.

Bolded part: she went to buy bananas and got to the quantity. Assumed it was per bunch. Got one banana.

LOL, that's funny. I wouldn't even know how many bananas are in 1 'bunch'. I usually make my own bunch depending on how many I think I'll need for the week.

Well, the engineer in me wanted to say that "well, a bunch isn't really a standard quantity, a 'bunch' could have 3-8 bananas in it, so really, you shoulda guessed, but I've learned that the engineer in me isn't always well received amongst non engineers.

Exactly. We'll do a once a month trip to Sam's and Walmart for anything not fresh, although we end up getting a lot of meat at sams and then just freezing portions of it.

I laughed. It does tell you that it is per banana, but I can see missing it. Oops.

Our base is 10 when spouse is trying to train for a running event. Sometimes we need more for toddler.

This reminds me that I just bought mangoes and need to eat them.

No, that's why you should get your own wife

That's an awful lot of hassle just for grocery delivery. I can see why people just pay for grocery delivery, laundry, and house cleaning instead of getting married. Thank goodness it's not illegal like paying for other wifey-type services.

It's a life saver with two kids under 5. Delivered to my door after I get home from work and we've been really lucky with produce and meat. Everything has been really good for us so far (10 or so deliveries)...

I can see it being handy for families that are busy with both spouses working.

Fareway is so much cheaper here that I don't see it being worth the extra money for shopping at HyVee.

We have only used it once when there was just no time to go do it that week. So my wife spent the amount of time it would have taken her driving to the store to order it and have it delivered.

If I ever have any issues w/ produce or meat..I just email in and they credit it for my next weeks order
