McNeil from Houston who is a 4 star according to ESPN. Many recruiting sites say he is very under the radar. We have more than just D Jack.

Not to mention we'll also have Babb and Jakolby Long. Unproven, but big potential for both of them.
All of them are not true PGs..Babb is nowhere near a pg..J long is a 2-3. McNeil is a combo...but ok..

If this is the case, hopefully we can focus more on Stokes and get a commitment. Then look for a stud JUCO pg, or a transfer PG.

For one, I highly doubt most of these kids even know about the B12 expansion, but this league will probably stay complete until at least 2025, so I wouldn't expect it will be much of a factor for the next couple of years.
I wish it was this easy but I don't think you all of a sudden get in on a "stud JUCO pg" this late in the fall.
Maybe one will emerge by Spring.
There will be a good transfer or two, but those aren't that easy to land any more.

You are correct, we might not all of a sudden get in on a stud PG. I'm not in the scouting meetings with the coaches.
However, JUCO recruiting starts much later than HS (Usually the spring), and we will have playing time to sell.
Overall, my point is, it's not the end of the world. We will ultimately judge this recruiting class next Summer.
Stud JUCOs like Hogue, Jackson, and McGee are usually committed by now. The only guys that get recruited later are the ones that blow up in their sophomore year.
Also, the JUCO basketball world doesn't really have that many studs to be honest. They don't grow on trees.
our program is to the point where we should be landing top 150 players consistently. For goodness sakes we have absolutely one of the best and most exciting home courts in the country. We have made the tournament 5 years in a row, we send 20,000 people to the Kanas City for the the conference tournament. I get why a kid would want to Oregon. I just hope are coaches are pointing out to him that his exposure playing on the west coast will be limited. The Big 12 plays their games on national networks like the ESPN channels. The Pac plays a lot of their games on the Pac 12 network, which has limited distribution. Oh, and did I mention the late start times? People on the east coast and or the midwest don't watch those games.
That....oddly makes me feel better with an impending visit.

We can't keep a coach. That's the reason we struggle recruiting. Maybe if we can get s competent coach that wants to coach here, that will change.
You would like to think so..... but it probably happens more than we'd like to think. Would be crappy for a recruit who decided on someone else to still let two coaches come all the way across the country to give you another pitch. I would hope he's either not fully decided or wants to reaffirm with us.
When the recruiting budget for Hoiberg was over 250k, one last visit to Wigginton doesn't seem like a big deal, win or lose.
