I am leaning towards it too, but why do you think so from lastnights episode? I was a bit sleepy so there werent a ton of aha moments for me.
The scene where he is spilling his "Life Story" to teddy. He says how his wife of 30 years (William is about to Marry his wife when he leaves the park and MiB says that he has been coming for 30 years) died. He talks about how He came to the park to kill a woman (maeve) and daughter after her death to "see how it felt" and Logan (who I was thinking it could be) has already killed someone in cold blood. There were a lot more little things I felt helped solidify it in in that scene, I just can't remember specifics right now.

Season 2 has been confirmed.

I'm sure this was all shot with that possibility in mind.

Plus the scene when Delores says, "When are we?" Pretty much a give away that there are different timelines involved.

I think Ford has been excavating the church town, but in the scene with Willie, the town is still buried up to the steeple of the church. It is in the past.

So crazy theory I saw on Reddit but I don't buy it.

Maeve and the daughter are replicas of the MiB's real life wife and kid. He requests they be built to find himself or whatever. He kills them and then Maeve reveals the maze before she "dies".

The guy who was previously the Delores dad being put back online is going to be great.

His speech to A. Hopkins is still one of the highlights of the whole thing.

Some say there are 3 timelines.

35 years ago: Church is there. Shooting scene with Wyatt.
30 years ago: William and Delores last night where Church used to be.
"Now": Ford digging up the Church.

Lord, I hope not. Trying to pull together three timelines in two episodes, plus resolve Maeve, Elsie, Arnold will make my head explode.

Even without possible significant stuff to look for I like watching repeats of this just for some of the acting nuances.

Most everyone needs a tablet to control hosts except for Ford and Bernard and now Maeve.

Stuff's gonna get real.

So one thing I've wondered now that it seems the William and Delores story is 30 years in the past is, when did the Delores scenes from early in the show occur, it seems they were in the present because she runs into the MiB while he's starting off on his journey to find the maze. Also, when did all of the stuff about Delores becoming self-aware and killing the fly and stuff happen. Initially the show made it seem like that was after the run in with the MiB, so you'd think it was in the current. If that is the case, then it seems like a story line that has just been left hanging, unless Delores becomes self-aware in the past.

Someone really needs to try to put together an infograph of the timeline and stuff, because the Delores story arc really confuses me.

I was always under the impression that all the self-awareness was in the past. But then Last night the scene where Teddy starts to remember is the first time they have shown that. Ed Harris doesn't seem to shocked, he is surprised, but isn't like "What the hell you aren't supposed to remember that." so that leads me to believe that he has seen this behavior before (i.e. Delores having her original memories.)

What I don't get about Delores being self aware in the past is that her Dad's host glitching causes her to become self aware. So was her Dad's glitch 30 years ago? Didn't Ford, Benard, and Elsie all work on her Dad when he was glitching. If that is the case, then the whole storyline with the operation of the park and Maeve would be 30 years ago too. I guess I always figured everything was in the present except for William and Delores. Maybe everything is in the past except for the MiB storyline.

We're going to get a cliff-hanger at the end of episode 10 and I am going to hate it.

Not necessarily, it's not Walking Dead, it's HBO. Could, hopefully, be a big revealing with ramifications for next season. I like that the season finales for GoT didn't go always go for cheap WD type TV tricks (one reason I stopped watching WD). I don't count the one season end with "dead" John Snow because we all knew he was not really going to stay dead.

I've been operating under the impression the last few weeks that the MIB, Arnold, Deeper Game thing is mostly McGuffin.

Could be way wrong.

Assuming anything with Ford in it is for sure the here and now? Like the scenes where he is trying to interrogate Dolores might be keys to figuring her change from host puppet to thinking entity (or "Arnold" manipulated entity). Bound to be good based on what we have seen so far.
