I know this should be in the game thread but it deserves is own thread.

Burton had contortions when he was saving the basketball. Second, he was standing out of bounds when he saved it so by rule he can't have possession. Third, the ball hit out of bounds before burton tried to save it. Should have been ball with 2 seconds on shot clock.

All that would be fine in the flow of the game but how do they freaking miss it on replay?

I can think of five worse calls against us just this season and at least four involving Kansas, Iowa and Virginia within the past 12 months that were worse than anything I saw today. That being said, you're right. That call was horsesh**.

Wrong. THIS is the worst call ever.

Period.

A fun thing to do is tell Kansas fans about this call, and watch them deny that it ever happened or could never happen. They'll be completely incredulous and accuse you of inventing nonsense out of thin air. Then show them the video and watch them admit it actually happened.

Officiating just seems to be getting worse and worse, not just for us, but all around college basketball. That was not a good crew out there today, although it didn't hurt us in the end.

Same exact situation occurred at the end of the game with Miami saving a ball from going out of bounds, then losing it out of bounds and the shot clock wasn't reset.
