I would be shocked if he or Oge ever play meaningful minutes here. Both looked pretty poor during fall scrimmages. Oge coule barely move and Karson just downright bad.
I didnt think oge was here for spring...didn't he come really late?

Yeah, he didn't get here until late. My hope is that he just couldn't catch on fast enough since he was late, so he'll be up to speed next year. Maybe wishful thinking on my part

I'm not ready to write him off yet. He has the size. The recruited him out of highschool too so you know they have seen him a lot and liked it. He did also have a couple decent offers with louisville and houston

Where did you hear that. When they first mentioned it they said he sat out for a full year at JC due to injury. and then sat out all of last year...that sounds to be as cut and dry as can be since he said both were lost to injuries. Campos took a regular redshirt his first year and wasn't injured. Sounds like his should be the one that is iffy unless he was actually injured his first year

This year would have been Campos Junior year. Next year is his senior season. Medical Redshirt not necessary this next year for Campos.

Understood. I'm guessing some posters were thinking (or hoping) that Campos might be able to get two more years to play instead of just one.

Go get him! Worst case scenario he provides some solid depth as a swing lineman who can step in pretty much anywhere on the line in a pinch. Best case scenario he's a plug and play for an o line that still needs help wherever they can get it.
Heck, yeah, if he's from FL, he's gotta be good.

I don't know about that, but if the staff wants him then you have to believe they know what they're doing. And beggars can't be choosers. The OL steadily improved throughout the season but there's still a long way to go.

That was exactly what I am saying. I know we have him this year. I am hoping we get him for 2 more. The coaching staff has already mentioned it as well.

acody must be bored

Ya, well anyone that doesn't agree that the o-line is what makes an offense go is probably not going to offer much in the way of persepctive. Unless of course he doesn't like Manning and is disagreeing on that, then I'd say he's right at home in this new partisan fascism we are adopting.

a new potential grad transfer, Khaliel Rodgers

follows a lot of the coaching staff on twitter and they followed back

http://www.usctrojans.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/khaliel_rodgers_848299.html

four star OG out of HS. Listed on the 2016 USC roster as a 6-3 315 RSJR DT. Started 3 games as a RSFR at OG and 6 games at OC as a Sophomore. Moved to DT prior to his JR year. Wonder if hes trying to get back on the O-Line ?

Wait so are you saying this guy is a grad transfer or is everything just an assumption based on Twitter follows?

hes recently followed like 8 different schools coaching staffs. so while he hasn't officially announced any transfer intentions, it seems very likely.

Is there any news on the Grad Transfer from Miami? He's got to decide soon, if he hasn't yet.

If I had to guess I'd say he won't be at ISU. And that's on our side.

I could be wrong but I've heard that he would be a Cyclone already if they'd let him.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if that means we have a higher priority OL target that can play right away.
