We didn't really have a choice but to have Babb out there with 2 starters out. It's on Prohm that he ends up with the ball in his hands at the end IMO. You can't have that.

Thank goodness Tech is more incompetent than we are, that's all I can say.

People really ripping on Babb? The dude is as solid as a role player as you can get. Makes very few mistakes, can break pressure, body up bigger guys on defense. He missed two free throws in a spot he's never been before. Saw a lot more important players than him do the same thing. I'm a huge Babb fan.

Babb got a HUGE rebound there at the end too. I'm sure he didn't want to be the one on the line at the end, and he shouldn't have been. That was on Prohm IMO.

Man, there were a handful of times that Young was flashing open on pick-and-rolls, and they NEVER went to him. Would like to have seen him get a couple looks at least. Don't get me wrong, he did the most he could with what he was given tonight and played well.

First post in the thread.
1) Great win. Tech is no slouch and this is another great piece to our tournament resume. This would have been 3 in a row losing in Lubbock which would have sucked.
2) Good riddance to those ESPN D squad announcers who's voices were dubbed way too loud. "That wasn't a foul on Tech". Shut up. You aren't even at the game.
3) I am fired up and can't sleep..
