Jay Will just said Monte is a guy who has stood out to him, and that was without scoring. They've been talking about how he is a good fit for the league due to all of his intangibles. Basically all of them saying what we already know.
So, they are saying that being good at the game of bball means something.

Monte looked like he belonged. Lots of guys pressing, and trying to do too much. Monte just did his stuff....watching it made me miss him already.

They showed Monte on local Cedar Rapids news tonight. They played a couple of his classic assists. Damn those were sweet passes.

Monte was just on NBC5 in Chicago. They asked him about possibly playing for Bulls and Hoiberg and he said he only had 2 years with him at ISU so he wouldn't mind getting another 2. They also had Jok and Mason.

Combine results pending, where does everyone think Morris will get drafted? I've seen mocks having him from 28th to 53rd (most that I've seen has him somewhere in the 40s). If you had to guess, is it more likely he could sneak into tail-end of first round or not even make 2nd round?

I'm saying late first round, he is valuable he can run your offense without hurting you. Monte is my favorite PG to wear cardinal and gold he just a floor general who sees the whole court. I also say the bulls should look at Burton too a mismatch lefty that can stroke it and put it on the floor who is a linebacker playing basketball.

I would say late first round. Those are likely teams that are pretty well established but could maybe use a quality back up PG to come in and give the starter some rest.

Middle second round or not even drafted would be my guess

I get the feeling that the spurs really like him so I could see him going to them late in the first round. The spurs had him in for a visit before the combine, not sure if any other team did FWIW

Thanks for the projections, looks like it reflects the mock-draft variations, not much consensus, but that probably becomes more of a norm the further down the list you go.

I've never had enough insight about how pro teams make choices (NFL or NBA), but I'd be surprised if MM goes undrafted completely. It may be circumstantial where he goes, a team with a true need for backup PG he seems like a steal in 2nd round.
