Oh great, more Trent, not less. No thanks.

I personally like Trent. He always seems passionate about what he does and from what I have heard, he's fair to ISU for being an admitted Hawk fan.

I like Trent, as well. He admits that he is a Hawk fan and that affects his judgement/thoughts; however, he is knowledgeable (for all sports), realistic, and fair. When I'm listening to sports radio all I ask is that you know what you are talking about and have realistic support to back up your opinions and thoughts - Trent does that.

To each his own. I don't agree, I think he's at best just smarmy about ISU. Last time I could stomach him was when Mangino was fired. Brinson was talking about it, he asked Trent if he thought it would be big news and Trent was all short and snotty saying no it's just a local story. He repeated it several times just saying it was isu, no big deal. Of course it was on the front page of all the major sports websites as he was saying it, but don't let your hok bias get in the way...haven't listened to him since that day.

I think Trent does a pretty solid job. It is the sound of his voice that can grate on me a bit though. Doesn't have the stereotypical "radio voice" that's for sure.

KXNO is spoiled there is no local sports competition in the morning. I tried to listen to Morning Rush for a couple years and finally gave up because they view not talking sports as a badge of honor. In a market where most people's drive time is 15-25 minutes, why listen to a sports station if they don't talk sports.

I guess it's tough to have a decent sports radio show when neither host is knowledgeable about sports.

Imo the morning rush is one big circle jerk.

The Rich Eisen show is god awful. Way too much NFL talk for my liking. I'll take local content over the crappy national shows like RE, DP, and Rome.

It's especially bad when he has Michael Rappaport sub as the host. The guy is so spastic it's all he can do to string two coherent sentences together.

I don't think because it was on websites it means it was a story nationally. Of course they put it out there but how many people nationally actually talked about it and cared. I don't see a problem with what he said.

Few probably want to admit it, but for me, sports radio was so much better when Deace was doing his thing(sports). I may listen 5 minutes a week now where in the past I would always tune in as soon as the show started.

I actually really liked (Jon)Miller and Deace together. Had good banter/chemistry and generally kept it to sports.

Marty Tirrell today talking about Tongamoa, "I don't care if they got that big, fat Samoan that just rolled in. He's going to be nowhere near game shape...."

Typical Tirrell
