So what's the verdict.... is this a good thing for ISU or not?

Uninformed opinion says it's bad if he visited Minnesota this weekend. But he's been in Ames unofficially so who knows.

With the recent Minnesota offer, I would think not. But just a gut feeling.

How recent was the Minny offer? If within a few weeks, yeah, I'd say that's probably not a good sign. Hopefully he gives some credit to schools that have been on him longer though.

I'd agree, but the staff just visited Tyrese Thursday too per Halsted.
I did wonder with his late official to ISU ment he was a lower priority.

Agreed Id imagine he's a Minn commit, seems like he'll be pretty good with time as well but seems like a lower priority for us. If we were able to get Conditt and Harris I'd be fine just going the grad transfer route for a SG for next season instead of another fr.
Well that changes everything if he never even did get to Minn for a visit. Hopefully he's a perfect mix of Naz and Matt T for us.

For some reason I thought he was visiting Minny this weekend, but apparently he didn't.

I believe he got an in-home from Minnesota this week but did not take an OV this weekend. Gotta think with us going in-home Thursday and him ending things early we're the favorite tomorrow

That combined with Zion's comments about their relationship has me feeling good about our chances.

I think he picks Iowa State. We don't have a lot of ball handling depth right now in the program. Tyrese can play multiple positions and seems like a good fit.

This wouldn't be a make or break type recruit for us, so I'm not too concerned, but it would be a nice pick up.

Can't have too many PGs/combos in Prohm's system, and the Wiggi era might come to an end early after significant success (and happily, for that, if it does). I say why not.

Agree. I want him, I just think that if he doesn't pick us it won't be the end of the world. Prohm has others on his radar.

Gotta love his length though.... so he'd be a great get.
