Can someone explain what to expect here? Like paying players or what's the crime?

Ok, who cares? I was hoping for something on the recruiting end but it looks like this is just something I was assuming was happening on the regular anyway. Guys will get fired and get some show cause, but these aren't program destroying I don't think.

I saw someone hint too that it might be tied to shoe companies trying to steer players a certain way and that an exec from Adidas might be in trouble. Okie State doesn't surprise me because there is no way they should get the interest they do from some players. Arizona has really increased their recruiting profile the last couple of years so that doesn't surprise me either. And Auburn, well that isn't shocking either. But that is huge news, especially that it is federal corruption charges. Holy moly. Maybe there was a reason Underwood got the hell out of OSU

Lamont Evans- associate head coach and recruiting coordinator
One of the nation’s most respected recruiters, Lamont Evans was named the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for the Cowboy basketball program by head coach Mike Boynton for the 2017-18 season.

Evans served as assistant coach/recruiting coordinator for OSU in 2016-17, and was in the same role at South Carolina for the previous four seasons helping to rebuild the Gamecocks program with head coach Frank Martin.

Chuck Person- associate head coach
A force on the recruiting trail, Person helped Auburn land three of the best signing classes in program history in 2015, 2016, which included Auburn's first five-star recruit in history in Mustapha Heron and six four-star recruits, and 2017, which was ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation with a five-star and two four-stars before 17-year-old Austin Wiley enrolled in Auburn in December.

Wiley was Auburn's second five-star in history, both coming in consecutive classes. The 2015 class would be ranked as high as 10th-best in the nation and was graded as an A-minus by ESPN. The 2016 class was ranked 25th.

Emmanuel Richardson-
Now in his ninth season at Arizona, Emanuel “Book” Richardson has firmly established himself as one of the finest recruiters in college basketball. His efforts in building and strengthening UA’s recruiting ties across the country has helped Arizona land top-10 recruiting classes in each of the last seven years, including five top-five classes during that period of time.

This is the reason Fred hated recruiting.
