*RUMOR* why is Park taking a leave of absence?

violation of team rules

Have heard Park failed his 2nd drug test and was going to be suspended multiple games so he essentially quit the team. The staff knows they need him for the rest of this season and, more importantly, 2018 so that’s why they’ve spun this as a “leave of absence” while they try to work this out with him

If this is true, does the team/staff want him back?

I realize this is mega honeymoon phase with Kempt, but a lot of the interviews and comments I've seen of him are about loyalty, hard work, etc.

Qualities a guy quiting the team because he couldn't follow known rules might not have.

If these rumors are true and that is a big if. When a player messes up 3 times and its all on him and he cannot accept the punishment, for his actions, there is a problem with given player. Its not even like he messed up 3 times in a game. He messed up 3 times off the field and was warned about it. At some point the player has to stand up and take responsibility. At some point he is a bad example for the rest of the team.

CMC knew the risk with Park and rolled the dice with him. Park has had issues in the past and seems like they might still be haunting him today. I hope whatever the issue is, he gets help so he can be a great dad to his little girl.

Whether it is Kempt or Zeb, I trust they will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors, Park, Lanning, Richardson, Jantz, Barnett, Tiller, etc. in looking like Tom ******* Brady in their debut, only to gradually regress to the point of being replaced by the next great Iowa State QB.

By the way, I kinda called it.

I haven't followed this thread since it went off the rails, just wondering if we've made fun of the idiots that were questioning the coaches?
