Did a mixed six pack of some different Oktoberfest last weekend. Really forgot how good the Bells and Schlafly ones were, probably two of my favorites. Ayinger is always a solid Oktoberfest as well.

Really disappointed with the Sierra Nevada collaboration Oktoberfest with Brauhaus, just didn't seem like a real Marzen.
The Sierra Nevada may be a bit more hoppy and bitter than others, but the flavor is pretty good. I do generally prefer IPA's so that may have something to do with why I like it.

Had Mark Mangino's beer last night, Spooky Tooth(9%). Probably the best Pumpkin Ale I have ever had.

Grabbed some of this year's Surly Wet. Not really as excited as past years to try it. 2012 was probably the last good year of this beer and now they're just chasing the dragon.

Was at Sams today and grabbed a Boulevard sampler that has a Black Walnut Ale. I was too curious to pass it up. Anyone else tried that one?

Bad Weather just released their Imperial Pumpkin Cream Ale so I made sure my bike ride just happened to cross near the brewery. It's really tasty

I would love to try a wet hopped harvest beer at the source. Not only do they not travel well, but the flavors are short lived too. I still get excited to try them every year.

I have a couple bottles of DDH pseudosue left. If that doesn't do the trick I have some 1792 that needs polished off.

I grabbed some of this over the weekend. I thought it was pretty good, but this is probably only my 2nd or 3rd time of it.

I'd buy a lot more if it wasn't so expensive. :)
