I just can't figure out people here are obsessed with how many showed up, how many were in their seat at half time and the list goes on. As others have said, WE WON! Anymore it's getting hard to tell who is a Cyclone fan who's not. Just happy for the team and hope they come home with another W!!!

The easiest cure for this is to sell beer in the stadium.

Edit/add: And take every bit of the added revenue and pay the coaches.

I’ve seen other schools talk about selling beer in the stadium and breaking even. I can’t believe that can be true, but maybe with the license to sell beer and added security???

Winning isn't big enough? Winning isn't more important than drinking oneself silly in the stadium, with kids all around? Winning isn't big enough to sacrifice something for the sake of our young iSu men doing wondrous things on the field?

To hell with those of you who just gotta have a drink at halftime, who think that is more important than doing your fan's job by sitting your fat fannies in the stadium being proud and loud. (I have a drink or two before the game, a drink or two after the game; during the game, it's all Cyclones.)

I apologize to those of you who are alcoholics and are in the parking lots from need, not choice.

Don't forget the point of emphasis of starting the clock right at the end of half makes for a 3 or 4 minute shorter halftime this year.

I dunno, I just like seeing a full stadium. Especially with a national tv audience. Especially from a fanbase who was so worked up when Iowa didn't sell out against Penn State. For so long, ISU fans have been used to losing, they were fine with leaving at half and not showing back up. The team has made a culture change, maybe it's time for the fans to follow suit.

Boo to this. People can do what they want.

FTR - I choose not to drink anymore, but it's a football game and this is still America.

Seems a bit insulting to the team.
TCU scored on their only kick return because:
A) coverage broke down
B) TCU held like Mutha *******

I had tickets in the south endzone last year for WVa.
If you're inside all you can see is the back of a bunch of blue hair's heads.
Wish they would modify the place a bit so this doesn't happen.
Maybe not allowing chairs pulled up to the windows or stair step it so everyone
can see the field.

Still I had a great time, Bar bill likely was more than the $75.00 price of the ticket.
Hit the Morgan hard and had apps during halftime.
Still got back to my seat for the kickoff. Probably was in the minority.
If I hadn't I still wouldn't feel responsible for the results on the field.

for those who don't sit EZC ,pony up $750 and come on in
Once you have experienced the SEZ, you would agree. We tend to stay in and enjoy the food/drinks after the the second half as started but always make it back to our seats. But for $750 a ticket (and we have 8 of them!) we would like to get our money's worth!

Your money's worth was cheering on the Cyclones to victory over the second Top 5 team in a month . . . I would have thought. At least, one can assume you paid for tickets to watch football, or maybe you're willing to buy $750 tickets other times of the year when there are no games?

Yeah, everyone that does things different from me should go straight to hell! Get off your high horse.

I apologize to those whose horses are tall from need, not choice.

Some of us believe fans have a key role to play in the iSu football story. Fanatic support by reputation. Team support with our voices and butts in the seats. I know I'm not here to attempt to enforce behavior, but I think it's worth criticizing behavior that many see as a detriment to the Cyclone story.

You cheer and pay full attention to the game 100% of the time? Kudos to you. If fan support won ball games, ISU wouldn't be in a 5 year bowl drought and constantly fighting their way out of the cellar.

Uh, guess I should point out that I have no enforcement power. More importantly, though, this is not the America of old.
