Terrible offense today. You hold WV to 20 and lose your offense is terrible. With a human at RB we wouldn't gain a yard rushing. This OL is horrid in the run game.
Completely got punched in the mouth. Not ready to play. Good job withstanding but this team isn't good enough to come out flat.

Kempt was a big reason they came back...missed a few times.
Run blocking was bad and will be from here on out. Anytime a defense gives up 500 some yards and whips on tackles all game it's going to be hard to win.
What has become of using Lanning in short yard situations?
Not really a big deal.. we are Iowa State expecting a legit football team was a little over the top. And for those touting our bowl eligibility... so, basketball seasons starting who cares about crap bowls.
We had no ******* emotion in the first half, had it in the second half, but allowed to many points And our offense is still iffy. This loss stinks and Kempt is not a runner. Gotta take a step forward next week we should’ve won this one.
No throwing a six yard curl on 4 and 7. 3rd and twelve and we run a drag route for 3 yards. Luckily wv bailed us out. We had other play calls that were bad. Qb keeping the ball when we needed one yard for a touchdown. Oh well
O line is terrible.

I wonder why Coach went cautious in the Redzone today. Man if we could have converted one of this, with our big receivers.
The difference between tucking the ball and running when nothing's open (the defense is spread over the field giving wide open lanes even Fat Albert can run through) and called plays that the defense doesn't really even need to be sitting on to shut down.
Basically the only change is trying Lanning or Noland. I’m not necessarily advocating for that, but we’re limited. No running game and no deep threat makes it tough.
At the end of the day, Kempt is judged by how many points his unit scores. They've been awful lately.
We should never lose a game we give up 20 points.
Guessing that shot he took last week might make it so we don't see it so much.
Dang it wish they could have made it all the way back. Oh well at least they didn't fold while down by 20. Halftime adjustments helped but just didn't get over the hump. Some short yardage stuff where we took settled for field goals we just couldn't get in the end zone. Oh well onto next week.
