Does anyone find it funny that they were shoplifting at a Louis Vuitton store in China? Home of the Louis Vuitton knock offs. That's like stealing a Rolex from one of those guys at Battery Park.

The only way this story would be better is if he was shoplifting shoes from another brand. What an idiot.

What if they were counterfeit knockoffs of another brand. I think that may be just slightly funnier!

LaMelo and LaVar are at a Big Baller pop up store opening in Hong Kong tomorrow...how on Earth is this kid possibly going to be eligible for NCAA play?

He's not. LaVar has been pretty open about the fact that he doesn't care if LaMelo is eligible. Personally I think it's his plan to stop him from getting exposed at the college level, I think he's incredibly overrated as a prospect.

I watched the whole game where he played Wiggington’s team. Lindell was clearly more next level ready and we saw him struggle in first college game tonight.

yeah It's going to be hard from scouts to judge LeMelo when he's only going to be playing AAu

Weren't there stories about Alford just walking around stores in I.C. and just taking stuff?

At least expecting stuff. I think there was something where he was in an advertisement for a riding mower and expected it for free. Such a ********.

Alfraud is not at all liked in Iowa City. He expected he should receive things free, including clothes, riding mowers and home construction. The stories abound.

And a shoplifter is a shoplifter. Some people who have the money to purchase an item will shoplift, whether it is for the thrill, impulse or whatever.

Well, yeah - if you were paying attention to other things besides the meth production, that was another thing you learned in Breaking Bad.

Years ago in Greenwich Ct, all the small business owners had the same complaints about Tom Seaver. He would expect everything for free because he was Tom Seaver and let you know it when he had to pay.

Cowherd was talking about it today and made a rare good point. If UCLA is fed up with the Ball family then this shoplifting incident would be an excellent opportunity to cut ties with Liangelo and basically end their relationship with the Ball family. I wouldn't blame them. They already got the best player of the three, so why not cut bait now and be done with Lavar and all his BS? Liangelo isn't an impact player and even if LaMelo is as good as his hype, it's looking less and less likely he'd be eligible anyway.

All three players made statements today and all admitted guilt. They are all suspended indefinitely. Alford should kick all 3 off the team. Ball actually thanked D Trump for helping getting the charges dropped and bringing them back to the US.
