The irony of you accusing anyone of crying.

This entire roster has turned over in two short years. Fred was here for 5. Where are his players that should have 3 years in the system?

This is going to take some time. Not one player on this roster played with Georges.
What's ironic about not blaming Fred for this loss. How am I crying. I'm just tired of hearing people blame someone who hasn't been here for 3 years. We have enough talent. It's on this team that they lost.

People have to remember that Prohm struggled to win with experienced and Talented teams in his first two years. This team lacks talent and experience, so this going to get bad. He is a great recruiter and hopefully he grows as a coach and becomes better in the coming years.

We aren't as bad as we played tonight, but this team is overwhelmed and broken after two games. Prohm has to find a way to inject some confidence into these guys. All of this "work-in-progress" bull isn't doing it. They are playing scared and with no intensity.

We need them playing loose like they have nothing to lose. They don't look like they want to be on the court. They don't talk at all. I understand they are young and still finding chemistry, but it was depressing to watch their effort.
The good news is it can’t get any worse, I think (hope). No wonder Prohm suspended guys. This team clearly hasn’t been practicing with enough intent.

There’s zero swagger or confidence. They know they’re bad.

Prohm was wrong in saying it was good to start with MU. I’m guessing that was coach’s speak, which is backed by him not wanting to play another exhibition. There’s no P5 team we’d beat.

We had 16 made baskets. And 3 of those were in the last 1.5 mins of garbage time. With 5 total assists. That’s difficult to do.

And Jackson has started 4 for 20 on the season. Yikes.

There is to much positivity here. This team is bad...

I think lineups are still being adjusted and will change once Lard and Brase start contributing.
Just some quick observations:

1. Put Wigginton at the 1. He's a natural point, and quicker to the basket which should open up Jackson and Babb (Babb being the better shooter) from 3.
2. Beverly is this year's Holden.. Good effort, just to small.. Maybe he brings some leadership?
3. Prohm is a defensive coach.. This defense has not gelled. it has been terrible...... A lot of youth and transfers. With that being said, Prohm is terrible at offense (maybe this is getting use to previous years). I think Monte, Naz, Thomas have covered that up with their shooting and play making ability. I don't feel like Prohm has even been close to putting Jackson into a position or Wigginton to succeed or maximize their potential.

Couldn't watch, but where is the leadership from Jackson and Babb? Thet need to keep Wigg under control, get the communication going on the court.
Also if like Mizzou we need a point bringing the ball up to dish to Jackson when open for 3's. Jackson needs to be a shooting guard, not point.

No way you can pin this on Fred. Prohm has had 2 years to recruit--clearly he's failed. Time to cut bait--time for a coaching change.
Troll alert.

Usually you have four, but Fred quit before he left. They both share blame. Prohm’s recruiting style doesn’t work on most transfers, and the hole Fred left necessitated transfers. That said, that was a bad night for Prohm. Very bad.

You're right. Everyone should accept losing by 18 to a low major team at home that has a 1st year head coach and was 11-24 last year and 4-14 in the Horizon league. But by all means keep telling everyone this is a normal bump in the road and we are just young.

See this is why you are clone dude level at this.

Not one person is happy. But there are reasons for things, and denying reality makes you really really bad at sports takes

I hope somebody from the spineless media asks Prohm if he thinks he should apologize. They won't, but I wish they would.

What!?!? Is a Prohm apology going to make you feel better? What would he apologize for? Everyone on here actsile these guys don't want to win.

Is this embarrasaing? Yes but I imagine the guys playing are far more embarrassed than the hot take takers on CF.

I think he does a call in show, here is an idea YOU call the show and demand your apology.

JFC i know it sucked, but he does not owe you an apology.

Like this post but FWIWProhm isn’t really a defensive coach per se

Ahhh... I miss last week when we almost gave a power 5 team a game.... I didn't watch the game but I have a hard time imagining any 5 pickup players from LA Fitness losing to these guys by almost 20...
