If he had TDs instead of ONE of the field goals in the red zone in three loses. He would be coach of the year overall. Man we were close this year.

In a 100 years we haven't won a big 12 championship. Campbell says we can do it and I believe him.

And he thinks you probably shouldn’t worry about one ******* hashtag. I’m pretty sure he’s not going to stop working because of one “raised” instead of “raise”.

Love it. Very well deserved.

On the other hand, I wish they would go back to the hashtag raise the standard instead of #standardraised.

Obviously we had two monumental top 5 wins this year, but 7-5 isn't new territory for this program. Mac and Rhoads got there several times.

They used #standardraised once, to announce Campbell winning the COTY award. Still use the other one all the time.

Congrats.

I am surprised Riley didn't get it. First year coach, could win the Big 12 outright and even a National Championship.

A valid point about being first-year coach — partly explains why Oklahoma was ranked 7th in AP preseason, when it probably would've been higher if Stoops had stayed.

Even so, OU was a fairly common preseason choice to win the Big 12, so it was more about effectively maintaining expectations. If this were Big 12 Basketball, Riley would have won COY. I call it The Bill Self Rule.
