Is there a worse color commentator in all of football? Enjoyed this game much more when I was in my truck.

I really enjoy his storytelling, because he always gets lost in his own story.

Patrick is such a great announcer when Tubbs isn’t draining his IQ

I heard Walters explain that someone stepped in front of Lazard right before Kempt was going to throw so it was better to eat the sack than throw an interception.

Yeah Tuberville hasnt been good normal horrible self today, although he's still been bad. Mike Patrick has been a disaster.

These commentators have contradicted themselves so many times I can't take it.
"Montgomery is bigger than Lanning" - Tuberville in 3rd quarter
"And thats why they bring in Lanning, because he is a bigger presence than their RB's" - PxP just now
"Memphis' QB is like Baker Mayfield, he can run out of the pocket and get you" - Tubby before game
"And that is why you dont want Memphis' QB running, he is no runner out there" Tubby in 2nd quarter after he nearly fumbled it

Those bozos were actively discussing whether Memphis should just let us score with 5 minutes left. Maybe prior to the era of the forward pass I suppose. Made my brain hurt.
Hawkeye comment aside, I thought Tommy did an ok job, which is more than I thought he was capable of doing.
Mike Patrick needs to retire. He has a great voice for play by play but he's either too blind or too ignorant of the rules to be calling games anymore.

When I was younger, I figured commentators were there for their knowledge, especially coaches.
As a more cynical older person, I understand now that there's a real reason that they have the talking job instead of the coaching job.

They were definitely better today than the last two games they called for us, but they are still the worst duo for ESPN
I know this wasn't football......but the two who did the November BB tourney made Tuberville look like Brent Musburger.
