I know some family members on both his mom and dad's sides. The kid comes from good stock. I think he'll be a very good addition to the staff and won't be at all surprised if he ends up being a great coach someday in his own right.

Even though I live in California, I have a classic car at my brothers, and still insure it with his uncle Scott Houg in Waukon.

Why? Because he played at UNI and his father is the head coach? .....

No doubt Farley has good coaching genes. But what is surprising in that this is not an 'in the family' hire, certainly emphasized in all of the recent moves. If there was no interest by former Cyclone or Toledo players, then no big deal.
