The kid that went to UNLV last year. But I am not talking about the specifics I am talking about coming up with reasons why "we didn't want him anyway". That is a universal thing.
Sure, there are definitely always people trying to spin it as a positive, or at least better than negative. That is not what irks me, or what I was bringing up. It's making up things that you have no true factual backing on, just to justify the situation.

Just wish the kid the best wherever he lands and hope it's not somewhere that will come back to haunt you haha

I would love to hear what CMC and Lou Ayeni are saying about each other to Brock. I'm sure matt keeps it professional. But it was Not a healthy relationship at the end from what I hear.

Am I for serious?

I'm Ron Burgundy?

I was just joking around.

When I was saying 'it' was a universal thing I was talking about there are people in every fan base that play the "we didn't want him anyway" game and come up with reasons he was bad in some way or not good. And not just with recruits that teams lose, with coaches that go elsewhere. See post above regarding Ayeni.

What is amusing about the TOE staff in this case is pulling an offer on a top recruit after Brock says-- I don't want to sign with you. Take my ball and go home hok recruiting.

Too bad the "usual suspects" are too scared to try and **** on this thread/

This is kinda like "Hey, this is a nice party but I wish some total ******** would come here and crash it." Siren call to the ******** is probably not needed. "Parties" are better when they don't devolve into something that needs a call to the mods.

PS: They will be here if he doesn't pick ISU this afternoon. Book it.

If you want to read some pathetic, whiny, immature, slop take a trip to HR. Talk about some babies getting their panties in a wad! Bad mouthing the kid for wanting to make his own decision. If he doesn't end up at ISU I hope he runs the ball down the Hokeyes throat every chance he gets! The majority of hok fans suck!!!

You weren't lying, quite the take here.
"I think this guy commits to Northwestern or Minny. NU would have a pretty good duo with the QB transfer from Clemson - Hunter Johnson (who was #1 QB recruit last year) and RB J. Brock. But who ever he commits to may have a battle to keep him. I think this kid wants to lock up a spot and look for a better fit if it comes. That is one reason, I think the Hawkeye coaches were smart to move on from Brock. I think he is a de-commitment waiting to happen. Go Hawks! Goodson is the real deal and will stay committed."
