F those guys (especially Tom Osborne). Made your bed....now sleep in it.

And for any of you idiots wanting to play them....just say no.

I was going to say no. But seeing your name on the above post has made me reconsider that position.

I think a lot of fans miss not having to travel so far to see games and miss the old rivals.
So in that case I say, No Thanks. Your bed is already made. I'm not one to forget all the turmoil when they left. And they were VERY happy to have caused that turmoil.

The way and geographical area that Matt Campbell recruits we would be much better served to play Mizzou, Illinois, Cincy, etc.
Was just going to say this. There's nothing in it for us to play UNL. Put UI on a three year rotation and let Matt choose the P5 teams on the schedule.

Oh, and **** Nebraska.

100% on board with this, it'd be great to beat the Huskers again.

I'm sure there will be a lot of butthurt about realignment in this thread but non con games with some history and regional context would be great as a fan.

I'll never understand the people who fail to recognize what a bad position ISU is still in due to realignment. I'm not "butthurt". I'm concerned that UNL set into motion a process by which ISU could end up in the AAC. That would kill ISU athletics as we know it.

There is no value in playing any university from Lincoln, NE. Missouri, yes. Illinois, yes. Nebraska, no.

Frost coached at K-State for a year before taking the Oregon job. Not surprised he'd like to revisit. But K-State schedule is filled for a decade to come.

Frost cannot be held accountable for the sins of the father, might be fun playing them instead of Iowa.

I love this part of the tweet too. Like KSU & ISU are gonna just clear their schedules for Nebraska. I see the delusion in Lincoln hasn't ended. Just taken a different form.

First off, I get the W/L Bowl deal, but would you rather see S. Dakota St., Akron, UNI, U Louisiana Monroe, South Dakota, UNLV (our non con. opponents besides Iowa for 18/19/20) or maybe Nebraska, Colorado or Mizzou. We have the coaching and recruiting is on the fast track up. Why not show we aren't the Iowa State of old and dare them to try us!

Because that's a ridiculous gauntlet begging for injuries to happen. For being the big dog on the block, there's a reason that the SEC has cupcakes in week 11.

I don't think anyone is arguing against CU & MU.

Northwestern isn't on the schedule.
Ah, you caught me shooting from the hip. I stand corrected.

My point still stands: playing more of the middle tier of the worst P5 division in CFB does nothing for us.

Frost is casting around for drivable away games for the fan base. I have precisely zero sympathy.
