I’m all for it if it means not playing the Iowa game every year.
F those guys (especially Tom Osborne). Made your bed....now sleep in it.
And for any of you idiots wanting to play them....just say no.
Was just going to say this. There's nothing in it for us to play UNL. Put UI on a three year rotation and let Matt choose the P5 teams on the schedule. The way and geographical area that Matt Campbell recruits we would be much better served to play Mizzou, Illinois, Cincy, etc.
We need the Iowa game to stay the big event in the state - alternating would only diminish that.I'd rather rotate and play Nebby every other year than Iowa every year.
100% on board with this, it'd be great to beat the Huskers again.
I'm sure there will be a lot of butthurt about realignment in this thread but non con games with some history and regional context would be great as a fan.
I love this part of the tweet too. Like KSU & ISU are gonna just clear their schedules for Nebraska. I see the delusion in Lincoln hasn't ended. Just taken a different form.Frost coached at K-State for a year before taking the Oregon job. Not surprised he'd like to revisit. But K-State schedule is filled for a decade to come.
Northwestern isn't on the schedule.Pass. There’s no upside for Iowa State. We already play the 2nd best team in the Big10 West.
Because that's a ridiculous gauntlet begging for injuries to happen. For being the big dog on the block, there's a reason that the SEC has cupcakes in week 11.First off, I get the W/L Bowl deal, but would you rather see S. Dakota St., Akron, UNI, U Louisiana Monroe, South Dakota, UNLV (our non con. opponents besides Iowa for 18/19/20) or maybe Nebraska, Colorado or Mizzou. We have the coaching and recruiting is on the fast track up. Why not show we aren't the Iowa State of old and dare them to try us!

I was going to say no. But seeing your name on the above post has made me reconsider that position.
You Afraid? Campbell isn't!Because that's a ridiculous gauntlet begging for injuries to happen. For being the big dog on the block, there's a reason that the SEC has cupcakes in week 11.
Ah, you caught me shooting from the hip. I stand corrected.Northwestern isn't on the schedule.
