Don't miss these ******* fans one bit!

Reap what they sew, huh? Sorry, I just can’t blame autocorrect for this one, not from a Nebraska fan! ;)

Totally aside from the fact that they were the ones who chose to leave the Big XII. What, like we kicked them out?!!

Some of you guys are forgetting who voted against equal revenue sharing when the Big 12 was formed. Nebraska did its best to destroy the Big 12 and make sure Iowa State was at best an also ran forever. The Huskers would be delighted to see the Cyclones as the newest member of the MAC. Now , do you really want to help the Huskers in any way? How about letting them and their obnoxious fan base drown in the $ of their Big 10 nirvana. Let them travel 500 miles for their nearest non-con road game. In plain English, "Huck the Fuskers".

Under no circumstances should ISU reward Nebby, Mizzou, or A&M in any way. All three worked to destabilize the conference before and during realignment, potentially getting ISU sent to C-USA or the MAC. Colorado is the only ex that had any class and they're the only one I could stomach ISU playing.

Fixed.

Don't ever think that KSU is in a better position than ISU. At least we have AAU status.

Not exactly sure.
People talk about rivals and that we have none besides Iowa. Why is that? You have to have a competitive series to make it a rivalry. Why was Nebraska and OU rivals? The games were close and would go back and forth. We start beating WV or Kstate for a few years in good games, we will have teams like that as rivals.

The Iowa State - Iowa game needs to be the biggest game in the state . Once we give that up you may never get it back. Iowa would love to relegate the game to something less important / meaningful.

This is complete nonsense. Why are you putting so much weight into a non-conference game? Are you really that attached to TOE that you think they are the best option for ISU to play in the non-con? Why are you concerned with what the TOE thinks? The rival games have stopped before and has proved the rivalry does not die.

If that doesn't fly, the Curse of Gary Barnett could work. Nebraska FB has been walking funny ever since this game:

I was there that day and it was surreal. I still prefer being on hand for 19-10, but this wasn't far behind from a perma-grin perspective......I think Chris Brown just scored again.

This is a win/win for us if it replaces the Iowa series or at least gives us a 2 on 2 off with Iowa. Nebraska carries a lot more weight nationally than Iowa does
I doubt Nebraska would ever sign on to a home and home with ISU. They want as many non conference games at home and only want to sign a home and home with a program they feel is worthy of their presence.

Their fans are absolutely insufferable and I don't want to give them anything their coach wants or could be helpful to them. Enjoy the drive to West Layfayette Nebraskans.
