Go with a good year and let the chips fall where they may

Good in year 3 is 6 wins which I'll take and if that's what ISU does, I wouldn't think OSU would hardly notice.

JSB, you are right, what I wrote (poorly) was more of a general statement of things going on in the #metoo movement. Shouldn't have put is this context.

I sort of understand your comment, but I also sort of think that your attitude is part of the problem. This woman states that she told her parents, his parents, her friends who had husbands on the coaching staff (something to note for all of the love that Tom Herman gets on here, he was on staff when this woman was texting the wives and he was the OC. One wonders what he knew??). She was also calling the police. Hell, Urban has admitted that he knew of the 2009 incident and he didn't give a ****. His program advisor basically told her to shut up. No one believed her. Everyone gave her husband the benefit of the doubt. Only now 10 years later will he be held accountable. The problem isn't that men are being accused without evidence. The problem is that you are conditioned to believe the men over the woman.

I encourage you to watch Stephen Colbert's monologue on Les Moonves. He does a good job talking about this issue.

Chizik was hired from us after going 5-19 in 2 years, I don’t know why some are so confident that a 6-6 season this year would keep Ohio State from calling. Winning at Iowa State is unthinkable to everyone and our 8-5 season last year with 2 top 5 wins was also considered unthinkable to basically everyone around the country.

Auburn is not Ohio St. If Campbell had coached at Ohio St I'd be more worried.

I’d be less worried if Campbell had the lack of success chizik had. Also, he still had good success with Toledo. He’s being noticed more than people are willing to admit.

He's clearly being noticed, but 6-6 won't cut it this year to get the Ohio State job.
