Update from Nebraska.. this conflicts Bret McMurphy saying FS1 scheduled it for 10:30 tomorrow.

Somebody tell our and NU’s ADs that this is America, not Britain. We won a freaking war to say canceled instead of cancelled.

The logic is that you have the rest of the day/night to make the game up vs no options with a night game.

Any FCS team not in the playoffs would be done for 2 weeks at that point.

Just watch...David Montgomery will have a Heisman like year but not win because of the cancelled game.

We also learned that the Playoff Committee has absolutely no idea how good a team is with only 12 games for 12 data points. They need that 13th game for 13 data points or they can't really evaluate a team very well at all.

So if we have our ultimate dream season and go 12-0...the committee has already said the 13th data point is CRITICAL (for TCU but not for several other teams).

It actually would almost be worth it to me as long as I knew we got 6-5 or better which I think we will.

100% not playing tomorrow. This was agreed upon between the teams. They'll have their eyes open for other teams to play throughout the year, but no guarantees. SDSU still gets paid. Akron probably not playing tomorrow at Nebraska because, per Pollard, "There are no hotels in Lincoln". Players serving a suspension will have this game count as their suspension served.

Edit:
To add more about playing tomorrow, neither coaches were real excited about throwing off next week's game prep in order to play the game tomorrow. Plus the forecast still looks bad.

You would think a real game against a real opponent would be more preparation than another day of the ones going against the twos again with limited contact.
