What will iowa excuse be when we beat them this week?

Brian ate chipotle the night before and was feeling under the weather that's why they only completed a few passes
TTOE are predictable, same excuse as always. It is the super bowl.
They had to have their stomach pumped earlier in the week, ala Rod Stewart/Donnie Wahlberg...
Sorry but don’t feel great about this game.. iowa shook off rust..especially Stanley and middle of their D.. We have zero reps really. If we can keep game close at half then have a chance but I’m not liking the feel this week..even though I don’t think Iowa is as good as last years team..NIU QB was horrid...
Would be more confident in ISU if they had more than two series of football.

I saw they were already getting bent out of shape because our suspended players will play. Fact is, our offense is substantially better than their defense. Meanwhile, our DL is probably the best we've ever seen at ISU. If the two teams play their own game, ISU wins.
In past isu wins, the isu super-bowl excuse was on the mark. Under Campbell though there is a difference and it would be silly for iowa fans to deny it. If a debacle happens this year, iowa fans will have to concede that isu has the better team. In fact, if you had won last year, same deal.
That’s definitely not a fact. Iowa’s DL has a significant advantage over Iowa State’s OL, and the ISU receivers/Iowa secondary match-up is probably a draw. The big question mark is Iowa’s LBers. If Iowa State can keep them off balance and get Montgomery to the edge/in 1v1 match-ups with them, Iowa State will have a good chance. If Iowa can keep Montgomery under 150 total yards, they win going away.
This one is easy. They'll say that our guys should have been serving their suspensions this week since "they really didn't have to serve one last week."
I don’t care what excuses they come up with. Once we play them, I’m onto thinking about conference play honestly. I think the rivalry is nice until the game ends, then who cares.
Just because Deshaunte’s catch and run doesn’t make the stat books doesn’t mean it didn’t actually happen. Just like Kempt 3/3 76/1/0.
