If I were him, I would wait until after the upcoming MBB season before committing to Iowa or ISU. Fran might be on thin ice in Iowa City if the Hawks finish at or near the bottom of the Big 10 again this year. which is exactly were I expect them to land.

It doesn’t really matter. Either he’s a big enough hok fan that he’ll go there no matter what or he isn’t going to go there.

XF is officially visiting Iowa next weekend so he'll get to see the Cyclones play live after missing out last night.
Wouldn't be surprised if the staff is trying to have Xavier visit for Midnight Madness/WV game weekend.
He was at Hilton Madness a couple years ago.
Honestly, I don’t think that’s all that good of a recruiting tool. Obviously get him to a game if they can.

He's not going to Iowa. Duke or ISU. More than likely ISU..... (unless they change the eligibility rule in the next two years of course)

From what I was told by a mutual friend. Iowa State gained alot of momentum very fast durring Fosters 2 unofficial visits. His dad wants him to entertain Iowa still just because they are an In-State School. Xavier loves Duke but they have not offered as of today. Iowa State is clearly in the driver's seat at the moment and are looking very good.

I think Gunner means it as “the only way he selects Iowa is because he’s a huge fan”.

The only other option is that he decides to go to the best basketball fit, which won’t be Iowa. They’re mutually exclusive.

From this date forward, any questions I have for Gunnerclone I will send to his accurate mind reader acgclone!

Feels like it would be a huge step forward in the overall standing of our program to keep one of these guys in state after the bad timing we’ve had over the last 15 years. I’ll be willing to give up my spot on the Mt. Rushmore of basketball players from Osky for him.

FYI Xavier is taking an Official Visit to Westwood. Fwiw Alford is on the warm coachin seat coming into this year and has lost 2 of his top freshman PG recently. If this season turn out poorly he may be relieved of duties. Bruin fans are not enamored with him as is.

@PurePrepHoops Good luck to our own 2020 Mega prospect Xavier Foster on an official in Hollywood
