Totally agree. Can’t imagine playing in that conference. It’d be 7 easy wins a year after 2 OOC wins. 9 wins a year.

Ok need help have a Nebraska fan trying to talk junk that ISU is a fool for paying SDSU and is proud Neb isnt paying. (typical Nebraska fan) I have done research and it seems every cancelled game has been paid out. Can anyone find another school so chumpy that they didnt pay out. He also tried to brag about big 10 Tvnetwork payin 50 million to big 12 25 million

I agree with you that the "Brilliant Decision", by thee Grate Tom Osborne has led the Nebbie FB program to ruin. I have asked both Tom Shatel and Steve Sipple if anybody in charge over in Lincoln would admit......That joining the Big Ten was a bad decision......

I have done some research it seems that most schools just paid because it is the correct thing to do. Really a million dollars means little to us and everything to SDSU it is their entire budget. I was blown away with Nebraska fan said that. The wheels are coming off in Lincoln. Scottie is still publicly calling out his own players and just gave Purdue big time bulletin board material. I was all on board the frostie train but they are terrible. should have been 100-0 Nebraska is so far away from being good it is insane. I have never seen a coach call out players for not buying in a month into a season, something is off. Other players are having press conferences calling out other players. zero discipline on and off the field . total disaster.
It's all about the line play. Gone are days where Nebby stockpiled line talent as walk-ons and developed them over 4-5 years to drive their running game and pass rush. Frosty knows that it will take a good 3-4 years to get even a serviceable line (as we well know here at ISU). It's why Iowa can get 7-8 wins a year despite below average skill players and a playbook from the 1970's. Line play is big and Nebby simply doesn't have anything.
Speaking of vanilla play calling, did anyone else watch Iowa's snoozer against Wisconsin? That was a boring first half, couldn't watch the second.
