This is a game where we should be able to run the ball...DM actually had 100 yds vs a stout TCU defense..the OL started to really gel in 2nd half...
If Purdy is a true dual threat QB and by his highlight film it appears he is a darn good one then its time to open it up and let the kid play..Cant be worse passing then we’ve had lately..
Go watch Purdy Sr. Film and tell me u wouldnt want to see him more..Kid can run and throw.
Having a true dual threat at QB opens up all kinds of things for this offense...Right now we have a stationary QB who cant run and the defenses are just ignoring Zeb.
CMC needs to start looking in the mirror and at his own details and light some things up bc his offense is a very big part of the reason this team is lacking..
Love this team and our HC but it is this year or next year that this program has a real shot at doing some big things..we return lol e90% of our 2 deep after this year but 2020 we lose a crap load...
This is assuming Butler and Lima etc return for Sr. Year.
We have a championship level defense this and will next year as well...For once in my GD lifetime i’d Like to see both sides of the ball have that level..Just once in my freaking lifetime.
Vegas knows public opinion.Wonder if the oddsmakers know more about the DM situation.
Why throw deep and risk an incompletion or INT when you can have short completions that lead to 3 and outs and 35 yard punts?2014 was the last season where there wasn’t constant pleading for the next backup QB to play. Noland needs another game where he’s not afraid to make a mistake and throw the ball down field. If he throws a couple INT’s so what, but we’ll never know until we open the playbook and find out.
Not sure DM is even going to play. CMC is pretty good at not telling us what is going on with injuries. He made it sound like KK, Muller and Allen were all minor things, but they have been out for awhile now. Offense could probably use those guys.
This. He made those injuries sound like nothing. For DM, he did not sound as positive as he did for KK. Using that logic, DM likely tore his own arm off to inspire the team about getting through pain and adversity.
